I do prefer the first sketch! The only thing, but I guess my description was not good enough, the tail is not half in the water ... The end of the tail transforms itself into water - if thats do-able? And the fur needs to be a bit more black :) its a bit too much blue (hard decision both sketches are amazing!)

the screen on my smartphone was not the best things that need to be adjusted a bit

• shade of the fur (its a bit darker)
• added a bit mire gold/yellow to the eyes
• end of the tail
