Would you be able to do something like this: x So, a Sweetheart Kerubi but in those colors (mint green, dark brown, cream)? The hearts are in different places on mine, but that was because I had trouble drawing them so I'm not looking to have them re-positioned or anything. :3

@ pythonesque I can't see your ref image (just a blank page/imgur error page), but based on your description I'm pretty sure I can pull this off :) So please check your link, or just say which parts you want minty/chocolatey/creamy, and I can work off from that.

Ah, sorry the image was such a pain! I had tested it after I posted it. Thank you so much! I was worried this would be too complicated for a recolor.

Any thoughts on this? I used a 400x400 image for this and I think the app I used for resizing to 200x200 didn't do a great job, so if you want to use something else, the bigger image is here.

I think it looks lovely!! The resizing doesn't look bad to me, but I can resize it myself on Photoshop and see if it looks different. I'm definitely sending you a WL item for your great work.

Since there's no one else waiting on a recolor, can I request another (simpler) one? Could you recolor the mane/tuffs of hair on a Golden Paralix green?

Glad you like it, and thank you so much for the gift! Actually, now that I look at it, the resizing doesn't look too bad. Maybe it was just my imagination, and my eyes were accustomed to the pixellated version as I had the image blown up huge while editing :D

I really hope this isn't too complex, but I would like her fur to be white, and her stripes to be dark gold. The purple glow can be replaced with a glow that's a brighter shade of gold. But as far as that's concerned, I'd like the darkmatters to be recolored so they look like light matters:

I actually thought the green bits in a pineapple would be darker, but a bit of googling proved me wrong. Perhaps I've just seen some bad pineapples :)

Edit: sorry, , didn't mean to ignore you there! I can give it a go, but going from such a dark color scheme to pretty much the exact opposite is kind of tricky, because the lineart tends to suffer in the process. So I can't promise I'll be able to pull it off. I'll try, though! ^^

Cool beans! Making the backgrounds transparent is totally fine, and I might even already have a version of the kerubi where I can easily remove the background for you. I'll check that when I get back home (just got to work...). Unfortunately I don't have such a version of the paralix.

Here's what I've got now:

If it's light enough for you, I can continue with the other edits. Basically, the way I work, making the body any lighter will result in a super flat image (shading is lost). The lineart is already starting to look pretty gray too, and any grayer than that doesn't look very nice in my opinion. So, some feedback from you would be really appreciated at this point ^^ If you like this base, I was thinking it's easier for me to draw the golden glow on than to recolor the original (along the lines like the light matter has a softer halo than the dark one). Instead of recoloring the dark matters, I might just replace them with light ones from the item image, apart from the big one in her paw. Also, what color should the eyes and the nose be?

Wow! It looks great so far. It's perfect in terms of the color (it's light enough), I think you struck a good balance here. Could you make the dark matter in her paw also white (like a light matter) somehow?

If it's easier, you can draw the golden glow on, and replacing the light matters with the ones from the item image is also fine with me, as long as the result looks good - which I think it will, cuz your work so far is amazing :D

I'm not sure what would look best for the eyes and nose. I think I like the nose how it is now - lighter nose here I think works better than dark. As for the eyes, I think that the white works, but would it be possible for you to make a version where the eyes are gold and have a bit of glow around them (to look like the eyes are glowing)? I think that may look really cool.
