Without that incentive, I&;m going to keep playing another version off-site where I&;ve got a high score of 17640 that I&;m trying to beat. It may not be sP, but it&;s incentive enough for me to keep coming back, and Subeta&;s version doesn&;t even have that.

I agree with this. Staff's reasoning doesn't really make sense because you could say the same thing about a lot of Subeta's games. They exist on Subeta as part of the larger site and that means giving prizes.

But I have to say to - I doubt you have a score of 17640 somewhere else, unless it's a very different version of 2048 you're playing offsite, because 17640 is not a power of 2.

The score for most versions of 2048 I've played is calculated by adding up the values of every tile you create. Combining two 4-point tiles to create an 8 tile will add 8 points to your score.

It's a much more satisfying way of scoring that Subeta's, where they just track the highest single tile value you make.

Ditto what you said, except for Mazes. I wish I liked or even vaguely understood that game! If I liked it it would be such an easy achievement to... well.. achieve! ;)

Although I agree that we should be given a minimum sP for the game, if the staff continues to not give sP it should be very clear on the game page since right now it's misleading.

A disclaimer text in large letters, bold, maybe even red inditing that no sP is given out should be on the page.

Also, the submit score button is VERY misleading. It should be changed to -claim achievement- instead. That way people are not mislead that they'll be getting sP since every other game that submits scores gives sP.

If people want to spend hours without getting sP, then it's their choice; however, they shouldn't be mislead.
