I'll just summarize what happened to Ariette after that big fight for anyone who's interested

- She somehow managed to put aside her pride and apologize to Fable, Eros, and Elizabeth. She asked for a second chance and (presumably) managed to find a topic to converse on
- She managed to meet Poppy and have a brief but polite conversation
- She managed to deliver a drink to Merlin and introduce herself
- She ended the night with a slight allergic reaction to Garlic but it ended up being just a mild rash
- She spent the rest of the holidays thinking over her approach and she's realised she probably should try and be a nicer person)

Whilst Ariette had eaten more than enough for the week, she was certainly appreciative of certain foods. She closed her eyes and concentrated on her sense of smell, making notes of any garlic which would make her first day rather uncomfortable given the propensity for rashes.
She tentatively pulled a sturdy looking Panini towards herself along with a steaming bowl of Tomato Soup and a small Village Salad. She looked briefly excited over the Coffee that appeared on the table but soon realised it was terribly milky. Resigned, she drank down the diluted coffee and wished for another shot or two. Her main dilemma was in the sweets, her best friend endlessly teased her sweet tooth but she could afford to indulge in a cake... or twenty. The call of the Coffee Cake and Ice Cream was too much for her and she helped herself to a rather generous slice.

I hope 2017 gets off to a good start (or at least gets better for those who haven't had a particularly good start to the year so far). I'm just pleased 2016 is over and done with laughs

My husband's grandfather passed away this morning so we've been scrambling to get time off work and plane tickets for later this week for the funeral. I'll edit this post when I'm up to date.
