Morning (or afternoon for you :P)!
Sunless Skies, which is the sequel to Sunless Seas... which is legit one of my FAVORITE GAMES. I got it earlier this year and literally played 100 hours in like 3 weeks. I have issues. lol
I really dig Sunless Sea - it is steampunky and creative and deeply atmospheric. It's text heavy story building, and the purpose is that your captain dies a lot and you build a legacy in your lineage of captains, but I find it enthralling. Apparently the game is a sequel to the web-game Fallen London, which I play a little but still don't have much of an idea on the backstory, but London fell or was stolen by bats or something and the game takes place under the Earth in this cavernous hell. hahaha here is the steam page if you wanna take a look. and my review of the game is here if you are so inclined lol
The sequel is taking to the skies and instead of sailing the sea in a boat you are soaring in the sky in a train. LOL. I haven't played it yet since I didn't get into the beta but I am super stoked and hopeful!
Thanks for the page ! Actually Angel and I were just talking of getting desktop computer maybe next year where we'll be able to play Steam games, so we won't have to keep our laptops connected to the power and kill the battery lol
The game certainly looks different from a lot of other games I have seen out there! I hope you get to keep enjoying them :D
Hi guys :D How are you both? Also Valhalla welcome back after your hiatus :P
I took a mini one over spring/early summer but autumn and winter are the best seasons to be on Subeta!

That's good :D What challenger are you battling? I'm good ta :D Just trying to figure out what's the best way to boost Valenthos' stats/whether there's a guide to getting stat boosters!

Yea it is totally different from anything I have ever played and so creative? I have gotten really into story-rich games, and this is a nice departure from RPGs that I normally play on the console. I haven't even finished Seas yet (my current captain - 14th in my lineage - is somewhere in midgame.
I am alright, got vacation on my brain as I am leaving for the airport straight after work, so it is a bit difficult to concentrate :P How about you?
I fought the Mini Gelatins all morning, and am currently battling Gelatin Gliders
The best way to boost your stats would be with the EXP Points you get from battles and battle quests! I don't really boost with boosters, because I don't like using items that are worth a lot for a random chance of 0-3 stat points LOL However, when you boost with EXP Points, you get 1 stat per boost, and the amount of EXP Points required to boost each stat is determined by the tier of your pet.
[edit] I hope you have fun playing the game and have a safe trip for your vacations! :D How long will you be away?
A week! I fly back the morning of September 6th. :D
Oh that's awesome! Going anywhere nice? :P I'm good thank you :D My parents and youngest brother have just gone on holiday to Portugal, and I'm hearing all about their adventures, I'm pretty jealous!
Good shout! I've been hoarding my EXP Points for a couple of days because I read it's better to train now and splurge when I'm a higher tier (I'm only T2 atm) but honestly I'm very impatient when it comes to battling! I remember almost giving in on Neo because it was just so expensive to train them xD

I wish! I was telling my boss yesterday that my week is like super full and just thinking about everything is giving me a little anxiety! The trip is primarily for my best friend's baby shower on Sunday, but she and I planned our time in San Diego together (since she lives in Boston). So on top of just spending time with her, I have all these people vying for my time as well that I am working around Vicki's schedule. I am just tired thinking about it... I think tomorrow is my only day to myself?
And then of course my boss delegated a donor visit to me yesterday afternoon for September 18th that I will have to coordinate... so I'll be working a little bit during my vacation as well. >:K
I am going to San Diego for the week! I am from there originally, but moved 5 years ago for uni and stayed after graduating. I have a couple of hikes planned, a couple of meals, going to the Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowcast on Friday night, and the beach! Pretty excited, but it is going to be a busy week.
I am mostly excited to see everyone so it will definitely be fun, but I have gotten so used to being a hermit that it is going to be so tiring! :P
