lol!
I miss all that fall stuff....Spring has sprung in Australia...and that means my allergies are starting up...though this year has been a bad year...we haven't had much rain, and are actually in a really bad drought...so there hasn't been much of a cleanse of the air.
EDIT:
That moment when you feel like an idiot, because you can't word the answer to a homework question...ugh...it's in my head, but I can't word it the way I want.
The question: You're helping a Year 5 (think 5th grade) student with the following problem. "How many 45 cent stamps can I buy for $10?"
Show two possible solutions.
It's for my teacher's aid course...

Random fact for Friday
The most money ever paid for a cow in an auction was $1.3 million.
Cows in general can be very expensive, but I was shocked by this as well. We raise our own beef - one summer it cost $11 for a male calf, the next summer it was over $100 for one. So as you can imagine prices vary. Here is some info from the article pertaining to this exact cow!
and have been working on making some forum adjustments thanks to everyone's feedback on this very important poll regarding Unique's Future. Have you taken a look yet? If you haven't, we're still hoping to hear from you! Suggestions and ideas are welcomed regardless if you've been with us for a month or are a founding member! More changes will be happening over the next few months, and next month we'll be setting up a feedback thread to see how you all feel about these changes, and see if we need to make any more adjustments.
Another update! Our Monthly Beetivities are having a make-over! Starting with the ones announced below, activities will be hosted in their own custom pages, and those that required you to post your progress (like Coloring Pages, Bingo, sP Sprint) will have their own personal threads linked from the page! Some images might be resized by code to fit the pages, but you can always right-click and select "Open image in a new tab" to see them full-size and download them if needed. Hopefully this revamp is of everyone's liking!
Wait... here comes another update! We have opened some Specialized User groups here in Proboards! These are all public and you are free to join as many that suit your Subeta interests! Want to learn more about it? Then all you got to do is visit this thread and follow the instructions provided.

Have fun ^^

Just want to say, I’m loving all the changes so far. I’ve just noticed the little ‘participated’ button, very nice touch :)
I’m sure I speak for us all in saying thank you for all your hard work and dedication to keeping our community the best :) xx
The crossword was fun! But...September only has 30 days, I just noticed it says 9/31
You're welcome! :) I did a double take and was like "Wait....30 days has September...." and even checked my calendar!
I see say this too...one of the crossword answers almost got me!
Well, we are mid week everyone. Hope your schools, jobs, passions, and life are all going well.
Celebrated my anniversary with hubby on Tues and took the day off for some time at a local hot spring and we toured the Butte mining tunnels. Pretty interesting stuff!
The mining museum also had this section of little doll houses, and one had a window peeking through to Sherlock's house. And Jeremy was cracking up on the other side, and told me to come to the front of the house. And Sherlock and Holmes were represented by Data and LaForge dolls. It was amazing :P
