But there are a few things I would like to note that are different:

• He's not exactly a conventionally attractive man. He's very thin, almost gaunt in the face, and has a large, crooked nose. I realize that not everyone's art style can convey that, and that's all gravy, but I would absolutely love to find an artist who is able to draw him this way!

• His hair is a bit shorter now, and quite curly. Still blue, though.

• Though he is a grumpy puss, I'd love a piece or two of him smiling, 'cause life is getting better for the turd.

• He does have a bridge piercing!

• New outfits would be amazing! I'm terrible at designing fashion, but I give 100% creative freedom to anyone willing to draw him some new duds. 'Grunge' is basically the only guideline I have.

• He is a Cŵn Annwn. That means his ears are red!

• He has baby blue eyes, and white eyebrows/eyelashes.

Basic story is a sad one: once upon a time his people were immortal, favoured by the gods. As the human population grew, the gods became angry, and forsook not only the humans, but the Cwn Annwn as well, leaving them vulnerable, but with very long lifespans. The humans developed folklore surrounding them, deeming them harbingers of death, and therefore began to hunt them.

Gwynfor was caught in a trap set by hunters at the turn of the 20th century, but instead of being slaughtered, was sold off to slavers when they realized he was capable of shifting into a human form. Since then he's been tossed between slavers - many of whom used him for sexual purposes - and pit fighters. In the 21st century, people became aware of the treatment shifters received, and launched several 'shifter rights' campaigns. Gwynfor was rescued from the pits in his feral form, refusing to shift, and was therefore taken to a shelter - where he was picked up by a lonely, but kind hearted man, wanting to help him recover from a life of trauma.

OK so that wasn't so basic. But there u go. 8)

He tries very, very hard to please everyone, to his great detriment, but he is quite a happy fellow all in all. He smiles a lot, while dying on the inside as his parents try to set him up with a female bride. : )

• You're free to draw him in whatever clothes you please! But I do have a few guidelines: he's an elf, so no modern garb, and he also lives in a hot, humid climate, so he wouldn't be wearing heavy clothes. Everyone in his kingdom is very open about their bodies, so they all show a bit (or a lot) of skin. Not sure how well I captured that using the avatar maker though haha so just imagine that's all made of chiffon or something.

"What happened?" "Oh... didn't you hear? Poor thing lost his family." "Oh, no!" "Yes... it was a fire. He was the only survivor." "Oh, no... how tragic..." "Horrible." "Well, don't you think --" "It's suspicious? Yes, I thought so." "He always seemed a little off, that boy."

A daydreamer at heart, Julien never looks like he's entirely on the same plane of existence as everyone else. He's a painter, and is often hired to do large-scale murals for schools and other buildings. He's not a very fast-moving young man, and never has been; as a child he was normally only the outside looking in at the rest of his peers, and though he was often a target for cruel taunting and bullying, it all rolled off of his back. His dark eyes, while captivating, often look like they're holding onto a terrible secret - and they are.

As a child, Julien's home burned down in the middle of the night. While he was able to make it out with minimal physical damage, the rest of his family was not so lucky. Alongside several burns on his body, there are plenty of mental scars he copes with daily, the most debilitating of which is the horrible feeling that he killed his family. He escapes with his art, and the worlds and stories he's created in his mind.

• He's small because he forgets to eat all the time. Wears a lot of oversized clothes because he doesn't want people to know when he can't take care of himself. Especially sweaters. He wears a lot of sweaters. Red ones!

• Dark eye circles, always, 'cause the poor baby doesn't sleep well. Also, always looks very far away. As they say, 'that guy looks like he's seen some shit'.

• His hair is probably his most defining characteristic. He's got dark brown, almost black, unruly thick curls.

First outfit is casual; second outfit is 'working'.

A bakeneko who showed up on the doorstep of a brothel one day as a wee thing with no knowledge of who he was or where he came from. Was taken in by the workers and raised by them, only to eventually be kicked out onto the streets, where he quickly used all of the tricks he learned to make a name for himself.

'Spirited' would be the polite way to describe him - 'obnoxious' would be more accurate. He speaks his mind no matter the consequences, and can be very loud. He also knows better than to trust anyone at face value, an instinct that was only reinforced when he was suddenly dumped out on his ass by the only family he had ever known. Being 'exotic' and 'adorable', and sexually open, it didn't take long for him to get picked up by an assortment of undesirable people; many of these encounters ended with him battered and bruised, in both body and spirit. He is tenacious, however, and refuses to yield to anyone, no matter how they try to break him.

• Eyes are large, cat-like, and amber, and he has very thick eyelashes! Appears ethnically Japanese in his human form. Is able to shift his hair and fur (tail and ears) into any colour he pleases, which is usually a pale pink. Hair/fur both very, very soft. Average height, thin, hips a bit wider than is normal for a man. Long fingers and toes. Small fangs.

• His left ear is pierce twice - two black hoops. Though I doubt it would be relevant, his tongue is also pierced.

• You can draw him in anything, really! He likes to experiment with clothes. 'Working' clothes or 'casual' clothes are up to you, though! Working clothes should show quite a bit of skin. He has no problems dressing in traditionally feminine clothes, either, even dresses or skirts.

She's extremely quiet, and for those who are familiar with GW2, she is Soundless - she's cut herself off from the Pale Tree. She longed for her own path, but is the definition of 'true neutral'; she thinks the Nightmare Court and the Pale Tree are just as bad. She is lacking social skills to the extreme and much prefers to keep company with fauna than other races - though she is more eager to fraternize with other Sylvari than, say, Humans or Norn. She especially dislikes the Norn.

She once befriended a cave bat. Eventually it was killed in a spat with a troll, but for the time it was alive, she was quite attached to it. They often shared fruit together and scared intruders out of the cave.

Basically the exact opposite of Imilia. 'They say she awoke from the dream still dreaming'. If you looked up the definition of 'naive,' Saibel's face would be there. She is endlessly curious and easy to trick, but does not have an angry bone in her body - in fact, she has little range of emotion at all. She loves everyone, and is very touchy. She's fascinated by the world and its inhabitants, and spent much of her journey stopping to meet other people. She is also a bit loopy and distant, and has rented a space in the clouds. Sometimes she doesn't even realize she is being spoken to.

She's the first character I ever made in GW2. Once I tried to change her hairstyle and it was awful. Leaf Ponytail For Life.
