I&;ve experienced the layering trouble, but it seems if I hit wear, go to subeta, then back to WR the items layer "themselves" in an order I wanted them in and tried before. Sometimes it required repeating the process of saving and going back but I was able to get my HA sorted out. It&;s not a fix, but if it&;s a workaround to someone here...

Ohhh, that's interesting. can you try this and see if that works? If it does that'll narrow down the piece having issues by a lot.

And yeah, I actually completely log out of my account and log into those accounts in firefox :)

I've been having to do this both if FF and in Chrome when I wanna make an HA. I just hit wear after every item, then when it messes up my layers I just do a hard refresh on the page and I can mess with my layers some more.

Watch for that moment... and when it comes, do not hesitate to leap.

There is a small interface/CSS bug with the wardrobe. When I select the right-most item in a row, it causes the next item to show up on its own line:

If I may suggest a fix - whenever you have a bunch of elements lined up next to each other like this, it's much easier to control the behavior by setting their display to inline-block rather than floating them. The spacing and number of elements per line will respond to the width of its container as well, making it better for responsive layout. You can align them by setting the text-align on the parent (setting to justify will evenly space all but the last line, just like text)

I wrote a quick example here, which you can see uses very minimal amount of markup: http://codepen.io/anon/pen/MJJJJg

Thanks for all of your work (and thank you especially for making the dragging-layers work on touchscreens!) I will let you know if I find any other bugs.

Hey, I'm not sure if this has been reported yet or if it's even a bug, especially since you have bigger issues being menaces at the moment, but I feel like we shouldn't be able to see NPC bases when using the wardrobe to view all items on the site? I'm browsing the body layer to see what's available and I'm seeing Sebastian, Quentin, Rumi and Rita's bases just to name a few. Just figured I'd let you know!

Edit: There's also items like "Emma Freckles" which are also NPC items but not so obvious (I thought it might have been a Vesnali item or something) which is even more confusing.

Second edit: I've just now started getting some item scrambling too, on 64 bit Chrome, Windows 10. For me it's only my top 3 items and they move from layer 1 > layer 3 > layer 2 > layer 1 and so on, not random like others are experiencing.

The wardrobe itself is multiple times better than the one before, I really love it ❤ it is fast and easy to use. BUT 😱 I have been working for hours to get my wardrobe sorted, I finally made an extra drawer for my favourite items, so I do not have to search through all the junk I have every time I want to create a new HA. But my drawer "Favourites" never shows in the wardrobe itself 😭 Please tell me my work has not been for nothing and that there is a way to activate that drawer in the wardrobe ;____;

I definitely enjoy the new wardrobe. It takes a bit getting used to but it is a lot neater than the beta version. I love the overall number of items rather than item limits per layout. Makes it more interesting that way rather than worrying if you're at the limit or not per layout. [:

So I added some of the new delish line to my wardrobe way over 24 hours ago and it's still not showing in there. Does anyone know what I can do to get it working?

Just tried to use v3.5 for the first time yesterday and encountered the item scrambling bug. :( Literally unusable even when you're trying two, three items on as the layers go haywire. Bit disappointing as I actually grew quite attached v3 despite its many flaws, and I could, y'know, make avatars using it.

I wish the Skins could be smaller, so I can try on different skins with a specific outfit and not have to scroll up and down and up and down. The compact Skins layout on the previous Wardrobe version was great.

Just wondering if you're still checking this thread? (That's not meant to be accusatory by the way.)

I can see that there still seem to be a few bugs encountered with this wardrobe, and of course those should take priority over interface tweaks. However, I would like to make a few more suggestions regarding the interface (most from a UX/UI perspective) for you to consider when you have time. Please don't take any of this to be more than constructive suggestions. I think the new wardrobe is awesome and an impressive improvement from the old. I just want to give some suggestions to make it even better :)

The wardrobe's interface is functional but could be arranged more effectively. Here is a quick mock-up illustrating my suggestions for rearranging the layout:

I only made a few changes:

  1. I placed the item preview image next to the avatar preview, rather than under it. This is easier and more natural for most people, since we're so used to seeing related images laid out side-by-side rather than under one another (think before-and-after images, etc)

  2. I placed the item info under the two avatar previews, where it's nice and easy to see. On the current interface, the item info pops up below the list of search results. Since this info doesn't show up until you click an item, it sometimes causes the entire page to get longer (which can cause a scrollbar to suddenly appear). Also, especially when the search options are open, you have to scroll down to see it sometimes. It's better to place it right beneath the previews, where it is both easy to find and can take up a fixed amount of space regardless of its content, so it doesn't mess with the layout when you click on different items.

  3. I decreased the padding of form elements, so that they are more compact. I still think they take up a larger percentage of the interface than is warranted though...

  4. I made the search results box a little bit smaller. I don't think this section needs to be as big as it currently is, nor is it important that it take up a lot of space. So, to make room for other elements to fit on the page, it's totally fine to make this a bit smaller.

  5. Super small change, but changed "Order By Options" to "Search Options" as an easier-to-parse description of what those are.

Please note both the mock-up and these suggestions aren't exact - just some general ideas I had thinking about the interface. I also had some thoughts on the tabs at the top (and some other minor things), but I'll organize my thoughts better before posting about it.

Thanks for reading, and please feel free to respond to this or my other post especially if you have any questions or want to discuss anything. Thanks!

I'm not sure if this is the same issue as others are having, I've been reading back a few pages and I don't know if my issue is the exact same. Definitely a layering problem, whichever items are in the top 2/3 spots will swap randomly as I rearrange other items, or hide the visibility of other items. ;____; I'm using Opera.

Are we supposed to be limited to the number of drawers we can use? I have 5 created with items in them, but I can only get the first three to show up when I'm in the Items section of the wardrobe. Like many others, even those are difficult to get to show up, have to click back and forth or reload. But those additional ones after the first three just never show up.

When I load an outfit and try to wear it, my wardrobe glitches from gold account (45 items) wearing limit to the normal account (30 items) limit. This means I cannot wear an avatar I made just by bad luck of having clicked outfits after saving it but before wearing it. :(

Same as , and I have mentioned it before. Freshly loaded page AND system, go to the wardrobe and try to make an outfit, the scrambling effect was BEYOND annoying so I tried what others did by saving it, leaving the wardrobe and going back in - only to find everything was still fucking scrambled - and I see that my item limit is 30, which should be 45.
Today seemed particularly bad, as I generally don't need to move stuff around much but I put on one item I needed to move, and that's when all hell broke loose and I was under way under 20 items. I move that one item and ALL but 1 item starts to move around. Of course, as soon as you try to move them back, the infuriating task of the impossible begins. WTF is going on here??!!
I saw it mentioned that using TeamViewer would help and you @ keith were offered such. If you need another pc to check out, I'm available. TightVNC or Skype would work, too. This has got to stop. It's not that I don't believe you are trying to the best of your ability, but rather that you're not reaching out for help. S/thing dramatically changed when you moved the wardrobe out of your sandbox, which you have stated you can't replicate the item scramble error on your end, and when you put it on the main site. It's at that end, that point, in which you need to analyze.

edit (02/01): Had a really awesome experience in the wardrobe today. Not a single thing scrambled. :O Don't know what happened or if it will continue but I just gotta say, it was FTMFW!
