i was able to get back to january 2009, 5 months after joining. very basic, no text, none of the same pets. drama in the forums was an entirely different story...

By using .org, I can trace it back to 2006. Holy shit!

OLD SUBETA PROFILE

I remembered we had journals but I forgot we had places to upload our art, too. I also completely forgot about three of those pets, haha. LeBlanc is now Eric, and I still have Sunnie, Raoul, Hero, and Zero :D

I was raindrops from 2009-2012. It was nostalgic looking back! I had so many profilesxD my ha's of freckle or heart fever was dreadful! Glad i came to my senses. I have all but three of my old pets. Surprisingly two are now pink and one i think purged. Reminds me i need to create a new profile and stuff for it. I have a lot more pets then ten or eleven now. Oh..the notice of trying to be on less i noticed. Subeta was affecting my school work so i had to stop playing as much.

I can trace back to Oct. 2008 using my first UN. As Shay it's only Feb. 2013.

omg! Now I can confirm that my pet Sakuya Kira actually did have a different name when I first created him! lmao I always had the feeling he did but for the life of me I couldn't remember.

Of the 10 pets I still have five with only one who's never had a name change. Pretty sure the rest have since been purged.

Seeing the old Subeta ... very nostalgic! I was able to go back from around 2009 if I'm not mistaken.

My account was 10 months, 3 weeks.

I had 7 of my current 10 pets. I'm not a name changer, still have my original UN and all my pets have their same names.

Way back to April 28, 2009 when I was only a 1 month old baby, awww.

November of 2009. I still remember that awful HA! My Lagmonster soldier/general. I'd forgotten about experimenting on Kilroy with the Pet Zapper though, fortunately the next snapshot has him returned to a Cadogre as he was when I first adopted him. I still have all of the pets I made or adopted from back then.

I was able to find traces of me from all the way back in July 2010. This was my old account that got deleted when clearings were still a thing. lol I wonder what would be different if I hadn't let my account get cleared way back then.

Seles was eventually renamed to Cross, Nagi to Nimbus, Ayame to Cain, Taghairm to Hazard and I gave Noir and Solo to friends. I know I had at least one other pet (Hanabi - now Rook) at the time, but I guess I didn't have a button for him yet. I'm pretty proud that I essentially kept 17/19 for nearly a decade now.

I know for certain I'm being kicked in the comment for not finishing an RP post. It would have been 100% typical of me. x;

2007-2008.

I remember when I changed my username to mercurius. This was pretty shortly after I became a UA like a year or two after. I became a UA in 2007, lol. I was also in my second to last year of undergrad then( graduated in May of 2009 with my BA). I'm a mini-mod now, but stopped being a UA in 2011. I also still have my original first four pets, but on that profile since they've had name changes since. I also realized that I've been staff in some form since like 2005. I've never not been staff on site. I started off as a mini-mod in 2005( of the now defunct debate board with Angelina), was promoted to a UA in 2007 and then stepped down to being a mini-mod again in 2011. XD

I've also only abandoned one pet to the pound my entire time here so they're all still on my account albeit some with different names.

My first four pets on site were:

Shaleyanna is Bibliothecaire Yarii has never changed names Twilight_Flame is currently Huo Aphrodite has never changed names.

couldn't find anything under silver_flame which was my original username, but mercurius was my second username change.

Oh my god!! Thank you SO much for posting about this, I would have never thought to use the internet archive site. I have had all of my pets from when I first signed up but I have name changed them so many times I have totally forgotten who was who. One of the only things I'd do differently given the chance what keep track of name changes so I remembered now who my original pets where. I thought there was no chance, but I just tried this and it went all the way back to 2009???? And I had pet buttons on my profile and the links where pet ID numbers!!!! I am so happy!!! I can finally see my pets original names!!

I only had 2 pets with a low low ID even back then. I might not have even made 10 pets when I first signed up. Maybe it was just a few, then I waited to make the rest.

Also, LMAO- found a capture of my profile from 2008 under my old username, and it was a MySQL error. Those where the days.

I still have most of the old profiles in rotation. May 16 2010, my old username was in use and I only had 11 pets.

Then I met the Menagerie crowd :X so many pets /falls over

I just checked mine the oldest date October 18, 2011. I was 19 at the time and my user profile and username have not changed lol at least it's easy to know it's me. "Member For: 5 months, 2 days" 246 achievements I still have all of the same pets, though two have name changes now. ahh this old avatar I thought it was so cool back then, still sort-of do lol XD
