I agree with now that Merana is freed and Maleria has accumulated all those weapons for her revamped quests (yeah right that's what she was doing, reVamping, with fangs). Princess Liara is next to be freed/brought back.

Maybe then we will get the coal we are due.

I love the coal wearables and do hope to see them back next year, but this was adorable and I appreciate the sentiment of trying to improve a craptastic year. <3 ^_^

2016 has indeed been an absolute dumpster fire, and I'm glad for the small break in tradition for the staff to do something nice for all of us <3

Honestly, I'm alright with not getting coal. We got a cute Anyu that I think should be included more often. He's adorable and I'd love to see art of him and Melody together. We need more Havarr!

Anyway, as for the missing coal item; happy to see that other people missed it too. I mean, a free pet-making-thing was fine and all, but some of us like the yearly coal too. [sub]We could have had both. :P[/sub]

So glad I saw this thread because Havarr didn't show up for me, and I kind of sideyed the Phantom for giving out Essence of Melody.

Good to know he hasn't accidentally gone to the good side, and I'm glad that when I went back to Melody's page Havarr is there now. He sure is cute.

I too would love to see more of Havarr in the future! n___n

After Bob "retired" because of Too-Many-Ontra-NPCs thing, I tried to remember how many there were. The answer was... more than a couple. haha. So, it was a bit of a legitimate reason, I guess.

But, speaking of legitimate reasons, a coal something could still be a free gift! Give that thing out on the 1st. Then, subeta's not making 2016 worse, but 2017 better~! Who doesn't like free?

I've loved all the items, and the extra essence is certainly great, but can we still get some coal? The coal wearable from years past have been some of my favorites! Free gift maybe?

I read your post and was thinking that Thatcher and Subeta's horde of NPC ontras (including the zombified Bob the Fishing) would be the shock troops for Merana, Liara, and Maleria's war machine.

There's bound to be coal in there somewhere.
