Just the other day I finished 'Jinxed' by Amy McCullough - it's a really good Sci Fi YA novel, highly recommend it!

Basically, it's set in a world where people have 'Bakus', which are basically robot animal companions that also double as smartphones. It is sooooo GOOD! <3

It was 3 in a row actually. The Childs Child, The Brimstone Wedding, The Chimney Sweepers Boy. All by Barbara Vine. Who is actually Ruth Rendell and she is a fascinating writer.
