Fable smiles and nods. "You give good advice. and I agree with you...I will talk to him about it."

She notices Eirick getting ready to leave. "Excuse me please, ladies room." She got up before she could receive and answer and left.

Fable went out the back entrance so no one would see her leave.

Under cover of night and shadow, after checking that no one would see her, she shifted.

A large white wolf silently trotted up beside Eirick and nudges against him a bit with its body. Fable wanted to know why he was ducking out without saying goodbye, but she wasnt going to let him know it was her...at least not right away.

Eirik felt something nudge him and was surprised to see a huge white wolf walking next to him. He thought it was beautiful, and somehow it reminded him of Fable. He sighed, and gently let his hand stroke a bit of the fur.

"Don't you have some family you should be with tonight..?" he said quietly, "instead of walking about with a vampire...who partially drunk and wishes he was passed out somewhere." He looked down at the wolf as he kept walking.

The wolf looked up at him with soft eyes. It looked back at the building then up at him as if to say "where did you come from? or why did you go?" It didnt seem to mind being petted.

Eirik looked back at building after the wolf did. "Yes, I was back there...at a benefit for orphans. But, I'm..I don't want to be there any more tonight. I'm heading up to the castle. Do you live in the forest...?"

He began walking again, enjoying the wolf's company. He felt some of the pain leaving him, some of the loneliness.

The wolf tilted its head almost to ask "Why?" to his response to the building. Then looks at the castle and the forest and gives a nod as if to say both, looking at him. She had never thought talking in this form would be so hard! She could communicate just fine with the wolves but that just made sense.

Eirik saw the wolf cock its head toward the building. "Long story, wolf, " he said, "short version...I met a girl a I really like, she goes to school with me and is in my house. I lost my temper with another house mate, she got mad at being called a possession...and I get that, I do...and when I came back in from cooling off, she was at the table with him laughing and chatting like newlyweds."

His voice was bitter when he spoke, " I guess she made her choice, and it wasn't me." He paused, then continued " so now I have to look at them both every day until school is out, and I have to deal with it and accept it. But, not tonight. Tonight I can be alone and try to forget I ever met her, or fell for her."

He went silent, lost in thought...like forgetting his feelings for her was every going to happen !

The wolf snorted and shook her head in disbelief before she knew it she was chattering-howling at him about what a damned fool he was and how no she didnt like being called a possession but she wasnt "newly wedding with Kyros either, completely forgetting he couldnt understand her. Then she flicked snow up towards his face with her paw. He was being silly! How could he think that...wait...did he say he liked me? Can wolves blush? she dances a little on her paws in nervousness. Was her tail wagging...oh god how to I stop my tail from wagging!? She glanced up at him.

Eirik watched the wolf suddenly have a fit...and worried it was having a seizure. Then its tail started to wag and it was kind of..dancing..? from side to side and looked happy.

He shook his head and said quietly "You ok...?"

Kyros finished his new drink, brows frowning slightly. He felt much better, but slightly worried at the time Fable was taking. Of course, he was sure she never went to the restroom at all and instead went after Eirik - it was obvious - but he just wondered how much time could a relationship discussion last. Part of him was growing found of the lady, with how nice she had been so far. Though his mind kept rationalizing it as being a necessary first contact in his new House, the truth was that the boy had always been a lonely child, and did not want to miss out the opportunity of having his first friend.

"Elizabeth, I think I'll go looking for Fable. Do you mind being here on your own, or would you like to come along?" He quietly asked the shy girl sitting across him on the table. He wasn't sure what she thought of the whole affair so far, but since she and Fable seemed to be close friends, asking her to come along looked like the right thing to do. Either way, he would go.

Excusing himself, the male once again braved the crowd to get a look around the club. There was no sign of Fable anywhere, though he wouldn't dare to go too close to the stage right now. Maybe she's outside? He fought his way back to the entrance to get his jacket and scarf.

The cold air from the outside was a relief after that suffocating space of people, heat and minds. Kyros felt relieved, as if a weight left his shoulders. On the calmness of the snowy outside there were only his own thoughts... And a couple others far ahead on the road. Those felt oddly... Distinct, even to a Legilimens like himself. Something wild, almost feral, a multitude of confused feelings that even left him dizzy. The other was cold, dark in a way, and terribly, terribly lonely.

I've never felt something quite like this before? Who are they?

(OOC: I'm quite leaning into mind reading from D&D for Legilimency, since I got the impression they worked in a similar way from Queenie in Fantastic Beasts. If anyone wants to discuss about it for the sake of the RP, I'm cool with it. Also, I hope this makes things more interesting. I kinda like this conflict.)

((OOC I am leaning toward the true blood type of vamps where their minds can't be read because of lack of electrical impulses, but...they have very strong emotions that you might pick up with that ability..hence like what you had mentioned of cold, dark and loneliness :) ))

(OOC: Thanks, that will help a lot :D I was leaning torwards him not being able to understand very well either Eirik or Fable because he is not a vampire or werewolf, so he wouldn't be able to pick up more than vague emotions anyway!)

One of the wolfs ears turned hearing someone leave and join them on the road. She sat down trying in the snow trying to calm her tail. She nodded her head. What the hell was she going to do. She had been so used to hiding this and now someone else was coming?!

The wolf smelled the air. Oh Crud. She thought, its Kyros, I hope they arent going to fight again...he isnt looking for me is he?? Maybe they can work things out?

The wolf let out a little whine.

Eirik saw the wolf's ear turn just as he heard the sound of distant footfalls. He snapped his head in the direction of the sound, and his fangs dropped. He was on alert.

Kyros followed the pathway to the castle, trying to make sense of the little he could feel. Even though he approached what he thought were the two minds ahead, the difused feelings and vague sensations made no sense to him. It was even wrose than reading the mind of someone who spoke another language - like trying to comprehend something that you weren't even sure was a language to begin with. Just the stronger sensations hit him one after the other, and he frowned, staring ahead at the road.

There was only one person standing in front of him. One person, and the largest wolf he had ever seen. Something is not right about this. An Animagus? Something else? Definitely dangerous. He wondered what would be the biggest threat, the wolf or the angry man.

"Leaving without saying goodbye? How rude." He put his hands in his pockets and smiled kindly.

The wolf looked up at Eirick and bumped against him then to Kyros with soft eyes. She was fighting the urge to run away, as she was unsure of herself, but she didnt want them fighting again and she didnt want to reveal herself yet to her housemates. She did a little unsure stompy dance (moving from paw to paw anxiously)

She had never been that way before. But she was nervous. She wanted them to be friends.

Seeing who it was made Eirik retract his fangs. It didn't make him any less pleased, though. He gently petted the wolf in a reassuring manner.

"I didn't care to say goodbye, rude or not. What do you want..?" he asked coldly.

Kyros watched unsure as the wolf moved towards Eirick, looking for any sign of aggression from either. His dulled senses only increased the growing anxiety of a dangerous situation. It was if he couldn't even see Eirik clearly, like there was something missing instead of him, only a void of thoughts that should be there and emotions he couldn't sense right. Compared to that, even the big wolf seemed more inviting. At least their body language and what he could rationalize of their feelings indicated insecurity instead of anger.

He swallowed, doing his best to seem informal and hide his uneasiness. "No need to be so cold. I'm looking for Fable. I thought she came after you to clear things out. Have you seen her?"

Eirik said "No, I haven't seen her."

She continued to sit, thinking it would help with her nervousness, she watched the two of them

please dont fight...please dont fight...please dont fight...going through her head.

(Kyros might get that, as she is thinking the please dont fight, very intently)

Very well. She's not here and this guy ain't talking to me. I need to check back on the stage- A strong feeling of worry, of anxiety. It felt almost like pleading, a desire for peace. It came from the wolf, directly from those big eyes staring... I felt this before. From Fable... Is she an animagus? Or maybe all those drinks I had tonight are just messing up my ability to read emotions... Still, I'm gonna risk it.

"I see. She's probably inside with Elizabeth, then. Kinda got lost from them. What about your little friend, huh? May I pet them?" Though the tone remained casual, a sly smile slowly made its way back to his face. Turning his attention to the wolf, Kyros crouched next to them, offering a hand for them to smell and approve before petting their head. "So cute. I kinda want to take her home with me now." He giggled slightly, scratching behind the wolf's ears, close enough for them to lick his face if they wanted to.

"You do look pretty adorable like this, and I'd love to keep on petting you, Fable. But you made me worried, you know!"
