I wish I had the focus for it, but every time I've sit down in the past to try to learn, I've invariably gotten distracted and then wandered off and forgotten about it. Never gotten the hang of it as a result. I like the idea of knitting, and knit things are my very favorite. My girlfriend knits, and my mum crochets, but I have absolutely zero practical skills beyond keeping myself alive. XD

Also: what's your loom set up like? Have a friend who hand-cards and spins her own angora fur into yarn for knitting but she's been thinking about getting into the loom process.

I tried to learn to knit from my aunt in high school and didn't have enough patience for it then. Crochet used to give me issues too. I kept coming back to both and now I can do them, but it took a lot of practice. Just practicing stitches with no end result in mind helped me a lot.

Your friend sounds amazing! I use a Loome for mini weavings and a round knitting loom threaded like a wheel with spokes.

Loom knitting and YouTube tutorials are great for getting dexterous with yarn. I love the round looms but I find the long ones too tedious. Let me know if you want any suggestions or links!

Knitting and crocheting sound like really awesome hobbies but I have no talent for it. My grandma taught me both over and over again but as soon as I put the needles down I magically forgot how to do it and had to start learning it again the next day. At some point my grandma just gave up on me, lol

Funnily enough other things I learn right away, like tire changing or using a lathe...Q__Q

I wish I had more time I would really love to get back into roleplaying.

It was nice RP-ing w you all (esp the shenanigans surrounding her statue phase) I might come up with another character, I might write more for Ariette, I might work on some more anthology submissions (btw did i mention that I got published last week? the anthology finally came out!) i'll see you darlings around!

I'm trying to figure out Lenore with the new special abilities rules. She only has learned abilities but I had originally given her two of them, both in the learning stage. I'll have to see if I can get one learned (occlumens) and one attempting but failing (legilimens) approved. If not, oh well lol

I think many will have to edit their characters or change them. My character has no special ability but is an animagi so I have to read the rules again.
