Jenn, yes please! It was 75 here today but it's getting down to 28 tonight. I guess it shouldn't hurt my feelings too much if we don't get any snow this year. I'll be on crutches until early March
Oooh, yeah, maybe you should wait til next year for snow. I don't want you to fall! Although a snow day so you can sit at home would be nice I suppose lol. That's a crazy temperature drop though!
Work is officially closed tomorrow so I'll be working from home. First real day of doing so! I'm a little too excited to do all my tedious computer work in my pajama pants (while getting some damn laundry done).
Crazy few days here. Work has been hectic, and last night our water heater had a small electrical fire. Turning the breaker off solved the issue but the whole unit was fried. Our maintenance guy installed a new one tonight so at least we'll have hot water during tomorrow's storm.
Stay warm Jenn and drive careful if you do need to leave the house at all <3
Hoping all of you in the snow storm are safe and warm. We are heading to the keys and the beach this weekend with our girls and grandson. Winter hasnt really been winter for us this season I think the lowest we have gotten so far is low 40's...

My work is closed today too. The snow doesn't seem as bad as they predicted, but apparently roads were really bad this morning, and most schools were closed - so I guess that's why we are closed too. Plus, it's our first snow day this winter.
But, yay (not) for the wonders of working from home - I'll still be doing some work between shoveling. And, I'll have to drive Tom to work later, which always makes me nervous (we have a really big, winding hill on the way there and back).

It was over 80 degrees again here yesterday. We had about 20 people over at the house yesterday, so we actually had to turn the air on in February!
Earlier in the week, they said it was going to be nearly 60 today, but it is now going to be around 40-ish. I'm just glad that we aren't get the freezing rain/sleet/hail like people further upstate. Almost all our snow from Thursday has melted (it was around 50 yesterday).

So yeah, we got more snow. Still had to work today. Very few cancellations at work, so it was pretty busy. The snow stopped earlier than expected so people were able to dig out. Just glad the day is done. Now I can chill :)
Work was officially closed today but I went in for a bit to get some stuff done. The roads were WAY better than Friday so I was surprised we were closed.
Just finished decorating some cookies to bring to work tomorrow. I still have some practicing to do with chocolate work, but they look good enough. The cookies themselves are pretty yummy, so that's what I care about more. Happy early Valentine's Day guys, hope we'll be kissing around tomorrow (and getting infected).
