Yes, they are saying that preproduction (casting, finding a location to film, etc) Starts next year. The earliest it could be released would be the end of 2018... so far away :(

We have actually gone to the movies a lot more in recent months. It really helps that the theatre by us is full reclining chairs, like lazyboys, and you can book them in advance for no extra charge. Plus Costco carries movie passes for kids and adults for dirt cheap, which includes the pop and popcorn, so it makes it much easier to go an enjoy movies. We just got back from seeing Moana this afternoon, which we all loved, then Rogue One tomorrow. The kids are so excited for it:)

Huh, I wonder if our Costco does stuff like that or if it's just Canada. We have the reclining chairs too but it costs extra. I believe it is almost twice the price of a regular ticket. It blew my mind ! We accidentally bought tickets for the recliners instead of regular and I was shocked at the price!

I don't see movies much if any at all. There were some that I was interested in but I never dig in my newspaper to find out when they would be airing. My paper makes it hard to find the listing and I just never think of looking online.

I think I got turned off of movies since I kept seeing ads for the horror/scary type movies and thought they were all like that. So my taste for movies kind of subliminally got killed off. The last movie I saw was Pixels and I thought it was ok though didn't quite like the ending. Rented Transformers 2 and didn't care for all of the overkill of the fighting actions. I did want to see Secret life of Pets but now either I buy or rent it now.

I'm doing a lot better now. But I still have some stiffness with my jaw joint so taking ibuprophin for that. Today I found that I do have a bit of infection on the tube in my right ear drum so got meds for that one. So I think things are getting a lot better for me now.

They must not have one of the new theaters there yet. Our theater with reclining seats is actually cheaper than the regular theater. It does book up early so you gotta get tickets early for big movies. Every seat in every theater room has a recliner and we absolutely love it. Hopefully one will come by you soon.

On a side note, has anyone gotten any forum boxes lately? I haven't gotten any in a few days.

A few of the discount programs i belong to offer ticket packets for cheap but only for theaters we dont have. We only have a Cinemark it doesnt have anything fancy like reclining chairs or even an Imax and none of the programs I belong to offer tickets for them

Not sure manda. All of the screens in our theatre are recliners.. and all the same price. it just started in the spring and its just the one chain. The others have the recliner but only some seats and do charge extra. Its definitely made seeing movies a whole lot more enjoyable

144 days in the pools and a referral point. Those are the best. I keep hoping some of the stickers will appear in user shops but nothing. I think the boxes have stopped.

Okay just have to say that I love the little story for the Melody items today. The Anyu is adorable! And after all these years, it's about time the phantom got chased off.

Side note, yes the boxes are gone. The news post said they would stop Dec. 19th. But we have the quest a thon in it's place with possible old stuff for goodies. I'm doing much better with that than the boxes!

More shopping today...so close to being done! Hubby was scheduled to have the rest of the week off but of course the asshat employee who screws it up every.single.time. had an issue yesterday which he claimed was a super emergency that of course turned out to be absolutely nothing - but hey it got all attention focused on him...and screwed up the hubby's plans for the rest of the week since he now has to be in the office... Seriously, every single time the hubby has tried to use his vacation days this asshat has pulled something and screwed it all up, I'm so over it. 11 days is what he will lose out on this year because he can never get more than a day off without something requiring him to go in the following day. I give up. Apparently we are not meant to vacation, lol, thankfully he loves his job so not taking days off isn't a huge deal (for him), and the company really does take care of him so there's that <3

And, talking about the reclining seats reminded me that Tom and I went to the movies during our vacation this year (they had assigned reclining seats there and even brought our concession snack out to us - they had to make a new batch of pretzels). We saw The Secret Life of Pets.

I've been Netflix subscriber for years, so I would always just rent the DVDs from there once they came out. I just recently cancelled my Netflix DVD portion though, so I guess we'll be waiting for cable now.

Heh, I use Netflix and Hulu to watch what I want. I do have the DVD portion as well, but it's just 1 DVD at a time. I have Amazon prime as well, but rarely use it. so far Netflix and Hulu keep me entertained enough :)

I've had Netflix DVD almost since the beginning of the company, so it was tough to cancel it. But, we were just holding on to movies for too long, and new titles weren't always available right away. I had a 2-DVDs-at-home plan, unlimited discs per month.

I'm not ready to give up the streaming yet though.

I have unlimited discs per month too with the 1 DVD plan, so it's not too bad. i thought about canceling it but decide to get through my queue first. now if only I'd quit adding to it...lol!

I have netflix as well. I used to watch it all the time when I didn't have cable, but now we have cable and I don't watch it so much. I almost got Hulu. They had a deal...I think it was for $5 a month for a year, can't remember, but I didn't jump on it fast enough, and honestly, with how little I watch netflix, it didn't really make sense to subscribe to another service! I watch it more now, when there's nothing on because of the holidays, and during the summer.
