I like looking at the lights while listening to, and of course singing along, Christmas songs. We have had a family tradition for 24 years(since Ashley was 2) of going to Branson and driving through the huge Christmas light displays. We listen to Christmas music as we are driving through, but we crank up 12 days of Christmas, Relient K version, when we get to that light display and we all sing along loudly! :)

Thanks again for all the gifts, and for the cute questions too. I tend to like things that are more simple. But, I grew up going into Center City Philadelphia and watching something called the Christmas Light show at the John Wanamaker's department store. It definitely would qualify as "grand ones that sing songs." They still do the light show there, even though the store has changed hands - it's Macy's now - and it's one of my favorite childhood memories.

Thank you for all of my pressies this holiday season. I love your questions. I love all light displays simple or grand, though if Im being honest this holiday season has not been the greatest. I barely decorated. My tree is up and my wreath is on my door. For the first time in 35 years my house is not decorated. Im still trying to find the time to wrap presents that I just bought this past weekend. My mom had a stroke a week before Thanksgiving and one of our largest clients decided to drop 1000 orders on us that are all due by the 29th... So it has been rough just trying to stay afloat. We have been working long hours and are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.. I think we are down to 200 orders by next Friday.. So we are taking a 1/2 day tomorrow and hopefully I can find some Christmas Spirit to last me through the weekend..

To my Secret Santa: Thank you so much for my presents I love them and cant wait to play in my wardrobe.

I like simple displays all the way up to the big ones. Haven't had a tree up in a long time since it takes a lot of work and my Mom no longer didn't want to drag the heavy box down that had the tree inside of it and kind of hard to find a good place to put it since there is stuff there now.

~PS Elf I enjoy all types of displays. I've made Christmas displays for a small museum, I like large displays with figurines that move, I like looking at lights while walking in the street (especially when I was at my parents, mom & I would go for our walk together).

This year it's been challenging to decorate for a variety of reasons. I managed to have some Christmas hand towels & kitchen towels... everything else is packed. Hopefully, I'll be able to decorate next year.

That's what I've got for now :) Had a tooth pulled yesterday :( Feeling much better today, but it still hurts a bit. Not sure what I was thinking having it done this close to Christmas except it was cracked pretty bad and while it wasn't causing any pain, it sure was annoying as all get out!
