I think my favorite memories are of seeing myself and Subeta grow up together. I remember how basic the site used to be, and how much my best friends and I loved it anyway. There's always been something kind of special about the community here. People just aren't as harsh here, and the site admin really seem to care about both the site itself and the users. They're always looking to add new features and improve old ones, and they're always listening to the user feedback. Even when things get a little bit dicey, everybody here is willing to stick it out through DDoS issues, server crashes, and mySQL problems because there's a spirit here that's worth sticking around for. Not to mention the exceptional level of creativity and originality that you can express here; I think the addition of the user-created wearables market was probably one of the most exciting improvements to the site ever. There's always plenty to do without feeling rushed.

Anyway, I'm glad I've been able to come back to Subeta time and time again over the years, and always jump back in right where I left off. Happy Luminaire!

Basically my favorite subeta memories have been just hanging out and talking with all of my friends:

Hello long time friend/wifey. We met on a different game but here we are years later on Subeta! I'm so happy that we've come this far in our friendship and while we don't talk as much as I'd like to (dang you time zones!) I'm happy we're able to finally share some time doing events together!

Honestly all of Subeta is a good memory for me, everyone on here is so sweet and kind and giving. I love how I can jump on sb at any time and someone will always have a conversation for me to get into. This community is amazing ❤

My best memory of Subeta was the Atebus Revolution Masquerade Rift Plot!

I have nostalgia for a lot of drama apparently... hah. Like the whole Draconis drama and the instance in which 2 ex-mods (?) took over the site and so we had to move domains for a bit. the original site was sooo fucked up and it was really funny to watch tbh? Even though that was... probably hell for the mods. lol

Finally getting accepted into Chic!

honestly, there's not one particular thing that sticks out. just, watching the site develop I think, I've been here near 10 years and man, there's just been so many things that've happened.

My favorite memories are just being here and interacting with so many amazing people that have become friends. They may have come and gone but they are still my friends.

One of them was recently getting a one week Gold Acct,. and 500 Cash Shop Credits.

The time I suggested that there be a sort of Potion lottery because I wanted a shot at getting an Angelic Potion (which at that time could only be obtained via eBay auctions like the Dark Matter potions). Staff liked the idea pretty much off the bat and implemented it as a new daily shortly thereafter. That's my Subeta Legacy right there. XD

Other fond memories:

• My first GA, which was gifted to me by a friend and Debilee back when money and checks had to be sent in the mail to pay for one.

• Having a custom made forum avatar and being a little sad when it came time to 'turn them in' to receive wearables right before the human avatars went live.

• The time a random user sent me an Angelic Potion, which allowed me to color Amenti back in the day. I had never spoken to them before, or even seen them around in the SB back when I frequented it. It's little random acts of kindness like this that I love about the users here on the site.

I don't have a favorite memory, per se, but I do remember being pleasantly shocked at how many fun events and site item freebies that Subeta has. It's definitely one of my favorite things here. :-) Never bored!
