One might originally think Hufflepuff when seeing all the critters around until one notices just how ferociously carnivorous all of them are since they are Magical Creatures and swarms of the cranes will positively papercut you to death drinking one drop of blood each time if you're not careful.

one of the oldest and most respected houses of Slytherin, she gets private quarters in the deepest dankest and darkest part of their dungeon dorms. She claims that the screams that people hear from her room are the squid in the lake (she has a very thick window out to the muddy bottom, those few that are invited to her room report). The sound shouldn't leak because magic and castle wards and stuff sooo....
