because i don't know, im making it up: this character is a living weapon, henchman of sorts to the villain. but they weren't born evil, and can perhaps...be swayed...

Definitely the hero, but they weren’t the “chosen one” ...had to step up and complete the quest when their best friend couldn’t swing it (the actual chosen one)

Wild Card Civilian but in the way that you are there in the main story but your actions are too chaotic they aren't on either sides team but whatever happens due to your actions significantly impact the story. Too independent to be a sidekick also.
