Mix between civilian and side-kick

started out as a civilian who dreamed of being an amazing supervillain and did their best to try and get into one of the top villainy schools in the country. On the day of their entrance exam, however, a former friend who was jealous of Solsticesprite's prowess decided to sabotage Solstice to give themselves a better chance at landing a spot. The former friend snuck into Solstice's room before Solstice woke up and used a magic incantation in an attempt to turn Solstice into their monstrous, mindless minion. Fortunately for Solstice, the former friend was not fully proficient at casting spells, so while Solstice's body was effected by the terrible curse, Solstice's mind was not. Still, because of the new, unfamiliar body and all the pros and cons it brought, Solstice failed the entrance exam and has since dedicated themselves to becoming the greatest superhero the world has ever seen. Solstice has sworn revenge against their former friend, and everyone at that school for good measure and so, incidentally, will become a savior to the common folk.

looks like a civilian who just owns a lot of pets. nope. you're a superhero with the power to command and speak to animals; all your pets are not only friends, but powerful allies and sidekicks on your quest to demolish evil. the fact that even most supervillains cant bring themselves to hurt a sweet lil animal doesnt hurt.

Mild-mannered and somewhat banal concept artist by day, is a hero who using magic pantone pencils draws just the right object into mid-air at just the right time. Anvils a specialty.

Eccentric side-character who turns out to be a mastermind and ends up helping the hero immensely to take down the villain.

I'd say your character is complicated. That at one point he was a hero, but something happened and he was turned and now fights what he believes in no matter what the cost.

is the civilian skull-farmer whose crop of skullflowers has been stolen and injured defending it from the nefarious villain. They're addictive and pretty at the same time, so they are quite valuable
