Am I doing this right? I just go to here? I don't understand what it means when "The shop today is Trading Card Center." is said. Could you clarify ?

Yes! Thats the mysterybox, each day a different shop is chosen to be the mysterybox.

At the bottom of the page where the large red question mark is, is where you purchase a random item that restocks from the shop that has been chosen.

What i've learned is that this is a great opportunity to get a hold of rare/expensive items that typically restock from the shop.
