I've gotten two big achievements (to me) in the last week -

I've never even attempted to get one of my pets spotlight-ready. Seems... hard.

My last achvs... One was a tier of Major Drills... a tier of Cynthia... and ummm... I dunno. Nothing too impressive I guess. 😆

Major drills is a pretty tough achievement imo. Those quests take me forever..

Yeah... I never used to do them routinely, but the payouts seem to be nicer now. I get retired subeautique items about every other day now. Worth it for sure.

I'm only at 1000/2000 with those.

I'm cruising through Cynthia and several other quest tiers now. They used to be brutally hard because the payouts were terrible, you know? I dunno when they revamped the quests, but what an improvement!

I left it at 98/100 for Burned, but can always get it next year.

Really? When was the last time you tried it? I swear... they tweaked his algorithm. He gives me good stuff all the time. I'm doing his quests right now, and the last item he gave me was:

Both of those were recent ones from the past few days. I already had the garter, but very tradeable for things I DO want. He gives unretired tique stuff pretty often too. I'd say out of 20, I get maybe 2 retired items per day. Not always cool stuff, but often enough to be worth it.

I got one of these yesterday too. He has been giving out blob beanbags the past two days. All of them crazy expensive. I guess maybe they're newer? I don't recall seeing a news item about them though so...

Alright... done with the 20 quests. And all but the may q and hazel were from my last 10 or so quests. It was a good day, clearly. But this seems to be only slightly better than the new norm for me.

Maybe you have better luck or maybe they've tweaked what he gives. I haven't done his quests for at least a few months, I only do them if I'm nitwit bored and there's some new item I want to try get xD

Maybe it's luck... but I think it's too frequent to be anything other than a change to his payouts. At any rate, I won't complain about kissing a statue and playing two seconds of Pete Says for an item worth several million.

Occasionally, the quests drag on with time consuming stuff... but it's probably stuff I should be doing anyway. Like, say, feeding minions in the wastelands? I love the tweaks to that so you can just search shops from the page... but it's still tedious. So I can see why you'd not want to trudge through every day... or every month or whatever. 😆

I'm going to call luck. I did Drills until I got all the achievements and then I stopped because I never really got snot from him. So I did them today to see if there's been any change and this was my haul for the day: [item=Layer Card: Neck]

The highlight of that was def the sheeta plushie which was still on my WL, everything else was meh.

I had a lame payout from Drills today too. But like I said... about every other day. It's not just me... look at ! 😆

I think it's too frequent to be luck. Give it a few days in a row. I do all of them every day, including the boring Leviathans. I used to hate them too... but since I've been back, the payouts have been crazy.
