I haven't used them outside of the tanks, but I found OHS and Cronus worked wonders. Got to 10 wins without taking a loss, though there were a couple close calls.

I took a loss when I decided to try using P-Staff for a couple battles - first time was great, second time not so much. xD I think the defense got nerfed and I forgot about it, oops.

Thracian is like 5k ahead of Maekisu in stats, too. o:

Sometimes potions/pylonics can help put you over the top when you're really close to getting a win. He doesn't block water, so Dark Water Potions can help add more damage. c:

Chain-freezing if you can is always a good idea! I think the blessing is less frequent with the seven-head than with the eight-head, so I would try that as well. Maybe start with a guaranteed freezer and if it takes and you're not frozen/he doesn't have the blessing up, then you go for the chain-freeze and use potions. If either of those things doesn't happen, save the potions and just try to get through?
