So my cat knows she isn’t supposed to climb on the kitchen counter by the stove, but she also knows that’s where we make the food. Every night after she thinks we have gone to bed, she will jump up there and look for food. I know this because one night I got out of bed becaus I forgot my phone to set my morning alarm and I went to say goodnight to her, but didn’t see her in her usual places. I look into the kitchen and there she is on the stove. She was crouched down so low and not moving like “please don’t see me, please don’t see me.” It was super funny but I was also very upset because I’m afraid she’s gonna turn the stove on by accident one day.
