So much for my 'do nothing' day - Mum and Dad came back from the garden centre with a put-it-together-yourself mini greenhouse thing (a cheap plastic covered 4 shelf thing), so I put that together and took apart the old one (the cover had split on that, so it was pretty useless). The instructions said it should take one person 10 minutes to put together, so I chose to not ask dad to help, otherwise it'd have taken us 30 minutes as he never follows instructions :P

It is pretty neat that they feel safe enough to eat while we are out there watching. :D The hummingbirds should be back soon too, they are very bold for such tiny birds. We have a hanging fuchsia plant on the porch, which they love, and they will visit while we are sitting only a few feet away. I will try to get some photos, they are very quick, though! I end up taking a lot of photos through the window as well, because my studio window looks out on the bird feeders. ;) I love the starry Delish sets. =D I am a little sad that someone on staff said they would not be releasing a Delish set this month. The new sunbird and elfin items are pretty, though! I wish so much that some of the sunbird items were more feminine, because although I want them for my bird collection, I probably would not wear most of them. xD

the only time I've been able to take photos of the garden birds from outside, was when we had some Wrens using the nestbox - I was just quick enough to get a couple of photos as they were heading back into the box with some food ;) 😮 I didn't know that about the Delish set this month - that's a real shame they're not going to do one :(

laughs he's definitely got a lot of character! ;) Mum's been telling him that he can only have one small piece of millet each month until he learns to talk - then he can get a larger piece :P

Oh neat, I love wrens, they are so cute. <3 I bet it was fun to watch them! We have a purple martin house in our yard, but no one has taken up residence in it yet. xD Yeah, one of them mentioned it in a comment about the new Elfin CS set. I guess they are mixing it up a little? It's a bit of a shame though, I always look forward to new sets. I like your HA today too, the touch of red is really nice. :D

hugs I am sorry that your brother was so pushy towards you on Easter and it caused you to be really hurt. It's never fair or kind to push your agenda or beliefs upon another individual. hugs How are things going this weekend?

Yea, I have the really bad one about once a week if I am lucky. I can totally understand that you mean - hope you don't pass out or throw up though, that's the worst. You should definitely try earplugs, because wouldn't it be great to be able to swim and not get a migraine? C:

Sadly, sunglasses don't help, the only thing that helps is keeping my eyes shut. I just try to not think about the disabling effect my migraines have had upon my life and then I am great! C: giggles It helps that I was born with a hopeless optimistic personality. I've had so many horrific things happen to me that most of my psychologists can't figure out how I am not bitter/resentful/angry/on drugs/etc. But you do what you have to do to put the next foot forward, or you drown.

Do you enjoy the beach, and things that involve swimming though, or do you dislike water activities? Also, how has your weekend been treating you?

Once a week is still very often for a bad one like that. =( I have never passed out, but I do throw up with the really bad ones. That is the worst, because I have a phobia of it. Yes, I think I will try them. =D Thank you again for the suggestion! I have avoided swimming because of it, so it would be nice to have the option again. ;)

I do like the beach, although the only time I tried to go swimming in the ocean, I got the worst migraine I have ever had. I just put my toes in the water now. ;) Pool swimming is fun, although public pools make me rather uncomfortable because I feel self conscious about how I look. My weekend has been nice so far, thank you. :D Yesterday we went to a late all-ages Easter egg hunt that was hosted by a friend of my husband's family. I brought my younger brother as well, we all had a good time! How has your weekend been going?

my thoughts exactly. I'm rather happy I'm not going with my parents on the 2nd of may to visit them. I just don't wanna deal with it. Doing alright :) I started a latch hook project that I just opened the "grid" for last night (was sorting thread before.) Its funny reading, 6000 black threads didn't nearly make my jaw drop--till I saw the grid is about 5 feet long by like 4 feet wide. I totally gulped a little lmao how about you?

That'd be awesome if some birds would move into that :D Although we found it quite stressful when they started fledging (they picked a late afternoon, so we were wondering if they'd actually be able to fly off into the trees before nightfall!). Thankfully they did, but in a way I'm quite pleased they aren't nesting in our garden again this year :P I love the pastelly peach shades in your HA today :D

nods I've never tried RPing two characters before, but I thought it might help to mix things up a little (and give me a chance to work on some 'regular' HAs rather than always using the wolf skin :P). My weekend was quite good thanks :) I got some work done on the allotment (a large vegetable garden I rent from the council) so hopefully everything will grow well this year! ;) How did your weekend go?

That's true, I would be worried about the little fledglings too! We didn't get any birds nesting in it last year, so I am not sure if we will this year. Thanks! I just changed it for the day, I am finally using some of my black and white items. ;) I like how you have incorporated some of the new lines in your HA today. :D

The blackbirds tend to leave their young in the shrubs at the back of our garden, so later in the spring / early summer we have to keep an eye out in case the local cats head our way. But that's not too terrible, as by then the young blackbirds are able to fly away at least ;)

Thanks! It took me a while to get around to wearing some of these pieces, because usually I like lots of color, but I think it came out all right. I am happy that I finally found something that works with the peacock. :D He was hard to work into certain HAs, because he would either be stepping on my clothing or covered by it, depending on how I layered him. xD
