and Zoe looks fantastic today as well! :D laughs ok, I think I've got that notes it down :P ;) hehe thanks :D The layering was an accident but it worked so well I couldn't resist using it ;)
Random question - if you were doing hand embroidery, what kind of fabric would you use? (the instructions I saw just say "take your fabric" but don't say what kind of fabric :K)
thanks :D I love the purples in your outfit, that all work amazingly well! :D oooo did I see a mention of a new bird? googles them those look stunning! :D
whoa, congrats!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Hopefully you'll find the perfect apartment that you and Pusur both love :D hehe I'm sure both Sid and Sparky think they're either human, or that we're budgies ;) Sparky's muttering a lot at the moment, so I'm guessing that'll turn into new words and phrases sometime soon ;) laughs er I think I'll pass on that one :P

ooh wow! congratulations. Gonna look for like a town home?
thanks :) hehe I'll help remember it. a very happy accident :o Hmm good question. Part of it depends on if its an accent or if is a lot I guess. Wanna bung me the pattern? i'll take a look-see
:P They added in the fabric bit after I asked them (it wasn't there when I looked before, but I've had two comments to tell me "it says on the page" so they obviously edited it after they read my comment, but didn't bother replying to the comment itself o.O). Anyhow, they said to use calico (it's to make iron-on embroidered patches), so I've added that to my list for the fabric shop in town ;)

o.0 odd. ah. hope that's easy to find. whatcha making?
yeah, that's what I thought! Their guide was for specific patches, but I've got an idea for a Harry Potter inspired look for one that might go on a wallet.... possibly ;) I just need to figure out how to make it work :P I'd looked at a sewing machine that also does embroidery (as in theory that'd be easier than hand sewing it), but the price of the machine was ridiculous, so it has to be hand sewn :K ;)

oooh should be brilliant if you can work it out :D Yeah they can get expensive :/ I got a good deal on mine, but I don't use the embroidery function often.
that'd be a huge "if"! :P I don't think they sell the one you have over here - can you download embroidery designs onto it, or only use the ones it comes with?

Since you both were interested, here are some pictures of my new baby! Sorry about the quality, I just snapped a few with my phone.
Birdie Pictures
Raven: Yeah, I didn't realize that either. 😮 It was big enough that he could fly around in it, he looked quite happy about it. xD They definitely suit her. :D Haha I see what you mean, that's weird! I picked this wig because it matched the dress and backdrop so perfectly. xD I am excited about the feet sparkles, they were on my priority list for a bit. ;)
Paddy: Thanks! I went a little purple crazy. xD Niamh looks great today, has she made a new friend? ;) Yes, aren't they cute? :D I had never seen anything like them! They are sweet little birds, too.
ooh s/he look lovely so purdy. :D I'm glad he was happy :) hehe glad its not just me, but it does go perfectly. Ooh awesome glad you got a big wishy. Keep reading as I've got pics to show too ((my internet is going very slowly thanks to the cold. They didn't bother buying lines like up north.)) More coming as soon as they up load
this is the remote caddy I made dad for Christmas
and
this is the notebook cover

this is mum's scarf. I made it with wool I got for Christmas and finished it new years eve.

that sounds better than the one I'd seen before! I wish they wouldn't limit the machines to US-only though! ;) The remote caddy and scarf look fantastic :D and the notebook cover looks the perfect fit for that notebook too :D :D I love the outfit today, perfect use of the sweater :D
hehe you can never have too much purple ;) 😇 She insisted on a look that fitted with the Wizarding workshop critter, and it was about the only monkey I could find in my wardrobe ;) Awwwww s/he looks so cute!! Have you picked a name yet, or are you going to try and wait until it's clear if it's a male or female?

I wish I could help you get one :) thank you. Mum loves her scarf :) the cover didn't take to long either :D aww thank you :D I see you got some of those stars. Niamh looks lovely:) and a monkey pet huh? xD

This are tissue box covers I made yesterday. The owl is the first one I made and adjusted the sewing for the second one, which I think looks better.
this is the scarf I finished on Saturday night :) with more wool from Christmas
and this is the mug rug I made today

Maybe one day they'll sell that kind of thing at a sensible price over here ;) Thanks :D And nope, definitely not a monkey pet :P she was hoping she could get out of the bus with the Clabberts :P
Whoa, those box covers loook great!! :D And the stripey scarf should be suitably warm & cosy too :D And that mug rug came out brilliantly! What did you use for the wadding / padding?

we can hope lol Lol. I think that would be a bad idea lol razor teeth xd Thanks xd had fun making Thin quilting batting. Was happ how close i matched the thread. Oh new ha. The specs new?love all the reds
hehe she conveniently tried to ignore that comment (but don't worry, I'll make sure she stays in the bus :P) That sounds perfect :D :D Thanks :D And yep, the specs were a Christmas present :D

Thanks hun! :D :squishes: I hope so too, I have a viewing tomorrow and another one thursday. :)
You are obv. all just really large budgies. :P Gonna be interesting to see what he has to say once he done with the muttering stage. Just make sure to pay attention to what you say around him. :P
Thanks dear. :) I am gonna look for a place in the city I live now for sure. That is about all I know. lol
Man have you ever been productive, lovely job on all your latest projects. :D :D :D :D :D

haha that's a good idea, stay on the bus XD cute XD
been a long time since i had that s :P cool :D hope you have fun looking for something. thank you :)
Sorry about the miss spell. lol I get the Raven thing correctly mostly tho, to my defend. lol
Its exciting for sure. Might take some time to find the perfect place tho. :)

awesome! I hope the viewings go well :D
laughs I dread to think what he's picking up, as he's already learnt what should be said at particular times of day.... I was just about to go downstairs and turn his light out yesterday evening, and he suddenly shouted "ready? Three" which is what I say before I do the light (well, 'three, two, one' but he doesn't like 'one' :P)
we can't have another prefect getting into trouble now can we? :P I got on better using the fusible batting for my ones (less chance of it moving around as I quilted it :P).... just waiting for the store to get that back in stock! :K ;)

-giggles- I hope you have fun looking :)
haha yeah that wouldn't be good. ah yes that wouldn't shift too much. I did my roof/house top stitching with the batting under it, that kept it mostly in place. I also have spray tack, but I did't want to have to wash it right away.
