:D Sparky's also more confident with talking while you sit next to the cage - Sid would cling to the cage bars while Mum cleaned the cage out (he wanted to get as close as possible to her), but Sparky sits on the perch and just chats away while she's tidying up his mess :P

I think its pretty awesome they have a computer! My grandma refuses to learn even to use a cellphone. Tells us she is too old and doesnt want to learn techy stuff. lol

Hehe.. I can picture him standing on one foot now, shaking the shoe to get it out. :P The fun! Cat litter always gets stuck under your sock and an annoying feeling. :P

well he had a computer before I did (he had it for work), but he has done really well to get to grips with new programmes on it too, after most of the ones he was using weren't getting updated any more. Gran hates the computer laughs she's got a cell phone, but doesn't know how to use it (they have one each in case either of them go into hospital, so they have a way of being able to contact each other still) ;)

hehe Dad did look like he was doing a little Irish Jig while he was hopping around trying to move the grit in his shoe :P It's always the smallest pieces that feel the most uncomfortable though!

I just think my grandma is stubborn and could learn it if you she wanted to. but oh well. lol She has her landline.. but it be nice to know that she had a cellphone for emergencies.. especially now that she lives alone. We even bought her one, the most simple kind, but yeah refuses to learn how to use it. she is a stubborn one. lol I can see how its intimidating for them tho.. not having grown up with these things at all.

hehe my Gran just has this thing that all technology is terrible - computers stop people from writing letters, mobile phones are a nuisance.... until Grandad needed to use his mobile from hospital, then suddenly she can see the point in those laughs I guess for some of them, it isn't until they actually need to use it, that they realise how useful it could actually be!
