I know, a pet raven would be awesome! My husband even said it would be cool to have one, but it's not in the cards right now. Maybe if we move someplace with a bit more land we can swing it. Crows and ravens need an outside aviary that they can fly around in. There are also only certain types of ravens/crows you can own as pets unless you have a license in falconry. You aren't allowed to own any native US species, so some people breed African crows, etc. Oh dear, that's not good. Our cat also likes to eat plants, so we have to have designated no-pet rooms for plants... and no-furry-pet rooms for the birds. xD Yeah, I suppose that is true. xD Well, it worked perfectly! The collar does look amazing on Sorn, that was a great choice. :D Yes, intimidating, Keet is not. xD Keet is more like a doormat, haha.

I have never driven a manual. o: My mom had one, but she didn't want to teach me to drive in it because she was worried I would mess something up (not sure if that happens with using the clutch wrong, lol). xD It would be good for me to learn, though. My husband could probably teach me, because he drives trucks and almost all of those are manual. I didn't realize that most of the cars over there were manual. That is probably good, because if you can drive a manual, you can drive anything. ;) Thank you! :D I was just saying to Raven that she isn't a very intimidating pirate, though. xD The shoes are , I really like them. I love RP-Paddy's blue pirate outfit today, it looks very stylish! The wig goes perfectly, too. Oh yeah, I can imagine it would be a huge pain trying to applique onto fake fur! I don't think you can really do much damage, although it's possible to "crunch" the gears if you don't get the clutch down at the right time, and that sounds nasty :P Over here, if you pass your test in a manual you can drive manuals and automatics, but if you pass your test in an automatic, you're restricted to just automatics ;) laughs well there have to be some pirate that are less intimidating than others ;) adds those shoes to my wishlist they look amazingly stylish :D Thanks :D I was running out of fierce pirate ideas laughs My fabric arrived yesterday (keep reading for the photos and my plans ;)) :D

hehe that's definitely true, especially as it only cost a fiver ;) o.O that's definitely bad! Although I tried explaining the Hobbit and LoTR to my dad, and his eyes just glazed over :P ROFL he definitely doesn't look happy! I will say that human clothing seems to suit Sorn though in a strange way.... I think he's just so stylish that he can carry off whatever clothing he gets given ;) (and I'm not just saying that because he scares me!)

Teal (the camera thought it was more blue, so I edited the shade in the photo :P) and a glow-in-the-dark eyes on black for a Loch Ness Monster (not sure if the glow-in-the-dark bits will be the underside like the grey on the blue one in the pattern photo, or if I'll use it for the eyes, so she can see in the dark 😇

And finally, the dark brown fake fur and brown minky short-pile fur for a Werewolf cub

It was def. a more enjoyable walk since my feet behaved better. :D And the weather was nice, which is a big bonus. :D

Oh my, I bet that sounds unpleasant. Well, learning to drive a stick shift is on my list of things to do. xD That makes sense. If you pass in an automatic, and you learn to drive a manual later, do you have to take the test again to get certified for that? I think if you pass in either type here you can drive the other(at least in my sate), although I would definitely want some lessons on the stick shift before driving one. xD You need a special license to drive tractor trailers and buses and things like that, though. Haha, I suppose so! Keet would make an interesting pirate. xD They do, I really like them! I think released them, not sure if she has any left over copies. You are always welcome to borrow my pair, though. :D It must be hard to make that many days of pirate HAs and make each one look different, I am impressed! nods if you already have a license for an automatic, you can take the test again and get the license 'upgraded' to include a manual. And yeah, I think you need an additional bit on the license for towing a large trailer (caravan-sized) and a higher-grade license for anything large like a bus or lorry ;) :D hehe RP-Paddy wasn't too happy with today's look - that sea monster outside the porthole looks a bit creepy ;) sits and admires all the purples & sparkles :D Yeah, Wizarding seems a bit short on the RPs this term :( I know they did the clubs in a different way last time, but I preferred the previous style, even if interest seemed to dwindle part way through ;) Thanks :D I was considering doing some work on that today while the men were working on redoing the fence in the garden (I need to leave my product testing stuff until after they've finished so I can concentrate more!), but they're using a pneumatic drill again, so I figured I was better not working on sewing while they're doing that :P

I've been wasting some time playing last year's Halloween Google Doodle (link) - managed to get a score of 93,580 laughs :P hehe it's about 3p per year (assuming I worked that out right - brain is still asleep :P) I think the Kraken will be challenging to make, but the colours should work really well :D Do you reckon the glow-in-the-dark black would work with the teal for the base of the Nessie, or should I just use it for the eyes? ;)

That makes sense. It sounds like a good idea to have a test just for the manual, since it is quite different from an automatic. Yeah, driving stuff that big is a lot different from driving a smaller vehicle! They normally have many more gears than a stick shift car. My husband had to do a special training course and then a written and a road test to get his commercial driver's license, which allows him to drive tractor trailers, etc. Oh I really liked RP-Paddy's look yesterday, the reds looked lovely with the background you chose. I can't blame her for being uncomfortable with the sea monster, though. xD Today's looks great too! Got up really early for me, went to a town 2 hours away to apple pick and discovered it was cheaper to buy them already picked lol so apple picking took two minutes. We drove back home and stopped off at cracker barrel for lunch. I had roast beef, mashed taters, corn, gravy and biscuits. It was super yummy. The roast beef was so tender it pulled off with no knife needed. Then we drove home. Got home around 3.30. At 4, I left to Dick's sporting goods and bought some plugs for my ears to prevent swimmers ear and a pull buoy and kickboard. If you don't know what a pull buoy is, its a device to help train better strength in upper arms by immobilising the legs. A kickboard is the same thing only for arms so you work on kicking. I finally got myself a pool pass and I'm gonna make the best of it. Just got home and am utterly spent lol.
