no prob, Paddy added it too lmao ooh thats nice of them :D
and that background might also have jumped into my cash shop basket and off my wishlist yesterday 😊 :P Erm.... they're sitting on my nose at a better angle, but the new plastic pads are making the skin on my nose itch :K I'm going to try cleaning them off with water this morning, as I'm wondering if it could be the spray they cleaned the lenses with (if it got onto the pads maybe).... laughs I saved the shower for when I got back :P Good job I didn't go to Lush like dad has suggested though (even the notebook that dad bought was slightly damp once we got back, and that was in a carrier, covered with another bag!) Whoa, that's not good if it unravveled like that! At least you were able to get most of the money back on it, but that stinks you had to go so far to find a store that'd actually be helpful! sits and admires your outfit That's great use of the Delish shirt :D :D
Yeah, the last few years we've had quite warm weather in September, but this year's been slightly colder than 'normal' so it feels even chillier ;) And your outfit today looks amazing as well! :D What's the background you've used? Thanks :D It's a cross between Frodo and Bilbo.... mainly because RP-Paddy couldn't decide which one she was meant to be laughs

haha I'm making you want things :D YAY cover them with fabric? 😇 seriously, does that stop after awhile? I've never really worn glasses. I hope the water helps. haha. Yeah sounds like a good day to not go o.0 yikes. i know right? o.0 I've never seen the likes. the seam itself was still intact o.0 and it fit so there's no saying it was me too big or anything. But I got a very thin Jacket that I can also wear as a shirt and a singlet so I'm reasonably happy despite the unforeseen outing. aww thanks :D lol I splurged. I love, love the way you used the frame with the moon dress and the new bg you have :D that dress looks so much better on Paddy
hehe well, you do normally give me wardrobe envy :P Normally they don't rub all that much with new glasses (I've worn glasses since I was 5, so my nose should be used to the pads!), and certainly I've never had my skin itch from them before o.O That is really weird - I guess they just didn't tie off the ends of the seam or something, which is how it ended up unravelling o.O But the jacket sounds like a good alternative :D Thanks :D :D I added in the tree as well as the frame just to change the background a little laughs but I couldn't resist the shooting stars with the moon dress :D
Yesterday's rain (taken while standing under the shelter at the end of the bridge - it'd probably only been raining for about 10 minutes at that point)

....and while sheltering under the shop awning (the 'lake' of a puddle that car's driving through is actually a pedestrian crossing - if you wanted to cross there, you were going to get soaking feet!)
I didn't get the really fantastic splashes of water from those puddles (one on the other side of the road splashed over the height of the car o.O), as I was having to rely on using my phone's camera, and that takes a little longer to focus in :P
(adding on from the previous reply) here's the photos of the dress & dad's shirt :D

Uggh at the shirt. >_< At least you got replacements. :hugs: More walking for me today. Not really looking forward to it. Yesterday my feet hurt. The joy. lol
Both the dress and shirt look fantastic! :O Like something you could find in stores easily. Great job on them both! :D :D :D

goodie :D hehe that's really strange o.0 what is making you itch o.0 Idk, it could be... the tree is perfect :D wow thats a big downpour. How long to make that puddle lake? Seriously just ten minutes? o.0 ooh the dress has some fancy fabric :D I love dad's shirt, it looks store bought.
yeah I'm glad i got something else too. aww I'm sorry. Day off?
thanks :D I do still need to fix a couple of things on the dress, but it looks finished and that's what counts laughs :D
I thought it could be the silicon that the other nose pads were made from.... but I wonder if it's just the pad digging in, and making it feel itchy (although that's equally peculiar!) o.O The ones on the bridge were about 10 minutes, the lake was probably getting on for 15 minutes. No longer than that, as we were only about 20 minutes late getting home ;) ....although it felt like a lot longer! ;) Thanks :D You can see what attracted me to that fabric (other than it being purple) ;) :D

it seems like these glasses are being difficult. Wow thars quite a bit of rain. Yeah very fancy xd
I think it's just my skin & nose that's being awkward :P nods Dad had said about the cloud looking "wet" but he thought it wasn't heading our way o.O

Well, it is a pretty great background, we all obviously have good taste. xD I bathed and dyed Pompom today, going to dye Deborah tomorrow. I ran out of time for both of them, unfortunately. I'll post pictures after both of them are done. The metallic purple I picked for Pompom came out more lavender, but it stayed sparkly. She looks so cute! <3
Yeah, usually our weather doesn't start getting chilly until October, but it depends on the year. I hope that it doesn't get chilly for you too quickly! I always get sad when it starts to get cold again, I'm not a huge fan of cold weather. xD Thank you! It is , but I also used over everything, so that might make it look a bite more blue. ;) Hehe, either way, she looked great! Today's is wonderful too, I see that you got the pretty meteor backdrop as well. :D I love how you have layered the tree over it, and the dress matches perfectly! Speaking of dresses, I love the one in the photo! The pattern on the fabric is so fun. xD Was that one of your sewing projects? It looks amazing!
yes we do XD hehe oh i can't wait to see it :D I've been watering succulents today and repoting some plants.
Indeed. xD I am interested to see how the metallic gold will look on Deborah. The purple food coloring dyed my hands as well as Pompom's feathers. xD Oh, thanks for the reminder, I have to water our succulents, too! What kind of plants are you repotting?
hehe she'll be like the golden goose XD haha well you can be a purple people eater. haha nice :D I repotted one of my fittonias (nerve plants), a peppermonia and 3 little cacti who were potted together. I would've liked to keep them together but sadly I kill 'me if they are together.
Ooo, if I'm lucky, maybe she'll lay some golden eggs. laughs My younger brother was calling her "Super Saiyan Deborah," so my husband suggested the gold food dye. xD Oh dear, I don't think I want to be a cannibal, haha. Nice! I don't envy you having to repot the cacti though, I bet they were quite pointy. =X We have some small ones that will need repotting at some point, I dread that day! I managed to kill a cactus once, I found out in the end that I was watering it too much... heh.
hehe well hopefully no one gets magically stuck to her ;) Oh is the dragonball z? but hey cannibalism is trendy ;) It actually wasn't bad, the spines weren't overly prickly. use gloves or something lol. oh yeah I've killed more than one. I have these on a schedule and they seem to be living lol. I have lost some though
I did think about shoving my lightweight showerproof jacket in my bag, but if you get caught in torrential rain like that, it just soaks through anyway o.O :P I love the adventuring outfit today :D :D
I love the cold weather - we never get much snow, but if we have about half an inch, then that's a really good winter laughs Ah, no wonder I didn't recognise it with that over the top! :D Thanks! :D I wanted to try and make the background look slightly different with the tree & frame :D And yep, that's one of my sewing projects :D It looks a lot better in the photo than it does in reality (I ended up with a hole in the back near the zip, so that'll need a lot of work to sort out), but I love the fabric :D It's a mix of a leopard print satin, and a tiger print satin (I wanted to have the spots on the top body part and waistband, with the stripes on the chest and skirt, but I made a mess of the measuring, so I had to swap it over for what I'd used for the lining, hence the waistband being the same fabric as the skirt :P).

true but it might help. thanks. loooks like paddy is adventuring too. looking cute, little werewolf pirate
I think that showerproof thing would've been about as useful as the stripey jacket to be honest (I got caught out in less torrential rain wearing showerproof that one before, and felt even wetter than I did on Monday o.O). Literally it's only good for keeping you dry if it's drizzle - anything harder and it just soaks through the arms :K Thanks :D I couldn't resist a pirate look, seeing as I've been lurking in the Freyalise all day so far ;)
