from the machine :) lol I haven't bought any csc in a long while, just converting, so I have like 3 points I think, maybe 5
wonders why I hadn't paid attention to that machine before now :P Well, there were a couple of cards where I didn't want any of the items, so I was able to stash a few points ;) At least they don't seen to retire any of the stuff from that shop, so the price should come down to a reasonable amount eventually ;)

I guess I thought it'd be impossible to make an outfit with it :P 😮 stares in awe at today's outfit too You're doing an amazing job of colour matching today! :D

it was challenging :) aww thanks. filters for the bg lol. xD
you made it look easy though :P laughs you wouldn't know you'd used filters - it looks like it was all part of one background :D

I think I will stick to my walk personally, my body is not made for jobbing/running. 👼
Whats shakin bacon? :D

I bathed Pompom yesterday. I meant to do both chickens, but the blow drying took so long that I will have to bathe Deborah later this week. I might do it tomorrow if the weather is nice. xD Pompom was surprisingly good for her bath, I don't think that I have ever bathed another animal that was as well behaved as she was. She also seemed to enjoy the blow drying (which took over an hour!), she got up and preened while I dried her back, then sat down in my lap. She even tried to preen me too, so I guess that chicken baths are a good bonding exercise. ;) Here's a picture of me blow drying her, and one of me holding her after she's all clean and fluffy. Unfortunately my husband wasn't around to take a picture when I had her in the water, because soggy silkie chickens look quite hilarious!
chicken pictures
Raven: Haha I think the bath was good bonding, maybe I'll try pecking for worms another time. xD I love River's look today! You combined starry and rainbows, I definitely approve. ;) That's a cute little buddy she's got there. =)
Paddy: Yes, some of our days in May were more summery than the summer weather we had, too. xD Go figure! I think the color matching worked really well. ;) That's a pretty outfit today too, I like how you brought the reds and oranges from the background into the outfit. :D Thank you! I had been meaning to make another outfit with my teal gryphon, but I was waiting for the teal mark to be approved. :D
I used with, , and to get the look :P ooh Paddy looks like she's been practicing some magic today huh? I love it. THe browns in the trousers are perfect match with the bg as well as that jacket matching the sky :o (keep reading)
not much. You? (keep reading)
aww that's adorable :) soo cute. Many long drying time o.0 glad you got some good bonding :) Aww thanks :) I posted to Paddy all I used to get the bg to look as it does haha. ooh loving the purples and blues today. whats the cloudyness behind her?
Okay, so I bleached my hair last night--its now orangey blonde. I have a blue dye but I'm waiting so see how I like the colour of the orange first lol. Also, went to Joann's for Mum and found a GOREGOUS peacock cross stitch. So I think I might give it a go when I'm finished the one I'm doing.
current project
Hoped for project
It was a long drying time, my arm was getting tired. xD I had the hair dryer set to the cool air setting (Pompom didn't care for the warmer one), and that one requires you to keep a finger on the button the whole time. I was getting a hand cramp. laughs Me too, she was being super cute! If she can handle a bath, I think she'll be okay with the harness. ;) Deborah is a bit less outgoing, so I am not sure how her bath will go yet, haha. Wow, that's some awesome layering! I wouldn't have thought to layer all of those backgrounds/filters. The result is perfect, though. Thanks! Well, I layered , , and along with my normal sparklies. Perhaps the combination of them created the cloudy effect? o: Ooo, those colors sound fun! I have always been too scared to dye my hair. xD I did, however, find out that you can safely dye white chickens with food coloring, or pet safe dyes... is it bad that I am tempted to dye my chickens rainbow? laughs Oh, neat cross stitches! I especially love that peacock, wow! I have never tried cross stitching, is it difficult? That peacock looks quite intricate.
sounds like you might wanna invest in another dryer. I have one with hot and warm and cool settings and I don't have to hold them lmao. When I had guinea pigs, the cooler setting was what I used for drying. Sounds like you are really enjoying your new pets. Do you spend a lot of time with them?
Thanks, the same can be said for you since I didn't realise you didn't use an actual background :o
I've dyed it a lot before. But I've been finding more -sad tears- grey/white hairs so I needed them gone. lol -giggles- no, not bad but very you XD Well not really--there's only a few stitches so once you've gotten the hang of it its very easy. However, the more detailed patterns do require a lot of focus. I recomend using a magnetic board and ruler like this clicky and a stand so you can mark off the lines you've done and not get lost. But before you try something that big, start with a simple one for kids--stamped pattern if you can. THat has the x s on it. you go across with that colour from the first hole to the other side of the hole for that x in a diagonal like / Then at the end of that row (with that colour) you go backwards from the bottom to the top of the x in the diagonal. Then you move to the next colour. Its a lot easier to do stamped patterns vs counted especially with beginners. (hopes this makes sense.)
hehe I don't know who's body is designed for running really ;) Out of the couple of people I see round here who go running regularly, they don't look all that healthy for it :P
that sounds like quite an adventure bathing (and drying) chickens! It makes me pleased I don't need to blow dry Sparky after he's had a shower! laughs ;) looks at what you and Raven used in your outfits and ends up wishlisting a couple more items :P Those three layered items look great for the background! :D
Thanks :D I'm looking forward to when they eventually get that colour picker working again in the wardrobe - that'd make colour matching outfits a load easier (I hope!) ;) 😮 That's incredible layering! ....and today's peacock look is fantastic, with a perfect background :D
oooo nice colour choice for the hair dye :D I've got a henna block sample from Lush, but I've not been brave enough to try using it yet 😊 (I was thinking maybe trying to get it so the underside of my hair was dyed, but unless I tie it back, you wouldn't know just to look at it - kind of like this (link) but red rather than rainbow :P)
Whoa, that peacock cross stitch looks like it'd be amazing when it's done.... but quite a challenge! hands you some patience

Yeah, it sounds like I need one of those. xD Honestly, I use this one more for drying paintings and chickens than for drying my hair, haha. I am lazy and just pull my hair back most of the time. Yes, I love them! :D I have been trying to spend some time with them every day so that they get used to me, and I always bring treats. Pompom will step up on my arm now for me to take her out of the coop. xD I think that she thinks she is a parrot.
Thanks! I love your peacock HA today, that looks awesome! Did the cross stitch inspire you? xD
Aww, with all of the worrying that I do, I am surprised that I haven't found any grey/ white hairs yet. I may also have the genes from my mom's side of the family, they seem to only get a speckling of grey hairs. Dying your hair fun colors seems like a good way to combat it, though! ;) Have you ever tried rainbow? It looks so amazing when it's done right! :D Hehe, I am still deciding if I should do that or not... a purple and a teal chicken would also be fun.
Ooo, thanks for the advice, cross stitching sounds fun! Starting with a beginner one sounds like a smart idea. xD You will have to post pictures of that peacock one when you finish it!
It was definitely an adventure. xD. Yeah, I am so glad that my parrots don't require blow drying after they take baths! Silkie chicken feathers are more like fur, and they don't dry like normal feathers without some help, hehe.
Thanks! I love the starry look today. I see that you are wearing the new book sweater, too! :D May I ask what items the gazebo and the constellation pants are? They look great!
Sparky's got show budgie breeding, so he has longer feathers than most regular budgies.... but his feathers dry out super fast compared to how long it took Sid to dry out after a spray bottle shower! I bet you're hoping those chickens won't need too many baths though, if it takes that long to dry them off afterwards ;)
And that's a great monochrome look with the new sweater! :D Thanks :D The gazebo is and I cheated with the pants - it's with over the top, to try and make them look more like they fitted with the backgrounds ;)

Went to the mall, to the a store there to return the wii u to hopefully have it fixed for good this time. :P Looked around for a bit and had a meal. :)
LOL that is a awesome with your hair! We need a pic. :nod nod:
Loving the look of the cross stitch you want, DO IT! :D
Whenever I go for a walk around the lake not far from here, I am amazed how so many people run or jog around it. Its about 8-9km. o-o For the most part pretty flat, but still. o-o Some of them even manage to make it look effortless. :P

I did a couple of 5km charity jogs (you could run / jog / walk as you wanted), which weren't flat by any means as they were around the university campus and the nearby golf course laughs but that's about my limit for jogging :P Even on the flat I think I'd prefer to walk ;)

yeah i miss the colour picker myself :/ thanks though strictly speaking there's no special layering--just the background, the peacock and River. thanks xD hair dye is fun. Ooh that'll look fun XD gooo for it -nods- it should take awhile lol. I'm gonna start it soon. I'm still working on the bear. But I've made significant progress on it though
haha. Well I don't dry my hair 99% of the time either. aww bless. I'm so glad they are settling in and you get to spend time with them <3 haha actually I'd thought of doing this ages ago but never gotten around to it. I dont have many, but they are getting more prevalent. I've never tried a rainbow one before but that could be awesome! hehe it would be neat :D Pompom might like it XD no problem, hopefully if you choose to do one you'll enjoy it! I will lol though it might take me a long time.
good luck, hope it works. sounds like a good afternoon. lol not gonna happen :* oh lol I bought it
nah, the layering comment was for the previous day where you'd used all those backgrounds & filters ;) I still reckon you'd finish that before I get some of my UFOs done 😇
That's a stunning outfit today - the kimono works perfectly with the background, and I love the way you've matched the building with her hair colour ;) :D

oh lol that makes sense XD hehe I might. apparently me getting mine out made mum to pull out hers out. She's started working on her cross stitches as of last night haha.
Why thank you. I figured Stella needed some love lol. Oh haha that was so not intentional. It was one of the only red wig I owned lol.
Love the stary theme :D so pretty.
hehe what cross stitch projects is your Mum working on? laughs well accidental colour matching is even better ;)
Thanks :D I was stuck for today's look, hence the hidden HA :P
