Lull isnt in the lair any more, so whose in charge of the birthday list thread she had started?

Laurie is the only one with a title in our Lair. Maybe check with Laurie to see if she wants to place some admins in charge of specific duties. It would be official. Seems the Member List needs to be checked as well, think some others have left too.

(BEARS) Oh I have been here along time and Laurie has always been at the helm. But with Lull and I think Kathy maybe gone. I dont know who to refer to for things, when Laurie is busy in RL. I really dont want to lose our birthday list, and I agree the current members list needs to be updated. I dont know how to reach Laurie in RL

A True Heart or Serious Green might know how to reach Laurie.

I thought about it, but thought it important to get Laurie's input first since its her group. Hopefully one of them can reach her.

You don't have to remake it if others are given admin powers for the group! With admin you can edit posts so you could easily just update what's there.

Although in this case it might be easier to remake just so isn't accidentally pinged by people wanting to be added to/removed from the list.

I agree with you, it is probably time to update the birthday list. I know of several people who have left Subeta (not just the Lair) who are still on the list.

I see two ways to solve the Birthday Forum Issue: 1. Contact Laurie and ask for a few of the founding members of Laurie's Lair to be added as Administrators for the # Laurs group and continue as before, 2. Start a new group by executive decision ( i.e. # LaursBirthday) and poll the Lair members to be added to the Birthday Only ping list. either start a new forum or keep this forum going until it maxes out at 5000 posts.

Gosh we are going to need to put our heads together as a group and figure it out. Especially making sure only current bears are on birthday list. But I dont want to over step any bounds, Laurie for sure needs to be in on this change.

To celebrate my birthday, my husband took me to a wonderful lunch, one of my out of state brothers came to visit through today so we all went out to dinner to celebrate, and my daughter is coming today for a couple days for more celebration. happy dance. :D
