ugh that sounds like a lot of work. yeah I always google my plant to make sure what kind of soil is good for it. my goji berry doesn't like fertilizers. plants are so weird. my dragon fruit is in stuff called coco peat. I think my succulents are in a blend my dad made up for his succulents of various things.

it's good for some things! really good for certain flowers I believe. it's just not general purpose especially for exotic plants I guess?
