Hey everyone. I haven't been around much the last month or two. -_- I'm going through some real life issues lately. Nothing bad. Just trying to get an ID which I have been trying to do for 10 years lol I legally have 2 last names and in order to get an ID I have to switch one and I had to track down my adopted father who has all the paper work I needed and now which I finally got and now The social security office says I need an ID to get an ID....UUGH so they said I need to go to the doctors who have a form they can fill out to prove I am who I am..which doesn't make sense. I went last week and explained to the doctors the whole situation and they have no idea what I am talking about. LOL But for the paper I need, the doctor said she can't give me my physical paper until I get my lipid and thyroid tests done. SO tomorrow afternoon I have to go get blood work done and hopefully, HOPEFULLY I can get this paper to get my ID. haha. Cause I need an ID to get a job etc. And It's hard to do anything without one. Ill be relieved once this is over.

Sleeping in this morning has made my Spring Break amazing! No more getting up at 5am for an entire week xD I've also started on repainting the scratch on my car's door handle. The primer has dried over night, so I should be able to start on the base coat today. Thank God for paint pens, lol.

Yay spring break!! I slept in this morning too, although I had to get up to pack my daughter's lunch, was up for a couple hours and even while drinking coffee, I felt this wave of sleepiness pass over me and decided to go back to bed. Finally got out of bed around 12:30. I don't typically sleep that much but I think w/ all that's going on w/ the company I work for, it's really draining me.

I swear that half the time they don't know how things actually work b/c when new hires come in, they're only trained w/ the basics and unless they really look into it for the person, they'll never know exactly what you need to do. 😞 Seems like you're dealing w/ something rather ridiculous and I wish the best for you.

I hadn't caught up on Vikings... but now I know what happens to Ragnar. :( Kinda makes me not wanna watch it, lol. The other day I watched the finale of one of my favorite shows - the vampire diaries - and didn't know it was a finale b/c it was short of their regular season lengths, which was 22. It was so intense but ended SO well. Same thing happened to me w/ Fringe when I watched the finale - didn't know it was ending and the episode was so intense but ended well, although I was pissed that I had watched the last episode w/out even knowing it. :P Definitely one of my favs. Started watching Legion which is really different, but I like it so I hope it gets enough popularity to continue.

When is the surgery on your bone spur.. and where is it?

The people that took the voluntary retirement offer at my company have their last day as the 31st of this month. A lot of familiar faces are leaving, as well as the technical gurus from multiple teams that will leave the rest of that team in quite a bind, and a lot of others not knowing what to do. Our supervisor told us this weekend that it was his last as our supervisor, and that he's taking on other roles which is good for him. We threw him a little party yesterday w/ lots of food. It was a somber weekend, really, as we've all grown attached to each other and even though he'll be in the same room, we won't be under him anymore. We're given to the supervisor of the other shift, which is a flakey B at best and whom screws up people's checks on a monthly basis. Then another person on the first half of the week team is taking the offer, leaving that team short. I will be working off and on in another dept since they will be short, and that will leave our team short. In another month, our co-worker is having hip surgery and will be out for awhile so that makes things even worse.
I really can't stand when companies make huge decisions like this and opt to figure things out AFTER the fact. The strain is felt everywhere, but most especially to the people at my level who have to compensate. Our yearly bonus was shit, next year's will be shit, and starting next year they are making people accrue their vacations instead of getting the full time at the first of the year. While my working in another dept has long term benefits, I can't even see past the chaos that will be getting through THIS year.

Surgery for the bone spur in my sinuses is in just one week now. I stopped taking my Omega 3 pills for now so there will be even less chance of bleeding. The place I am getting it done is about 10 minutes from here I think, but it might be at the hospital near there which is still about 10 minutes away. The distance is nice so I won't have a long drive after.

She looks like a pirate. lol Have to go back tomorrow to get her eye checked and he'll remove the eye patch (if she doesn't do it before that but she's trying not to). It's snowing right now but hopefully it will stop around 1am like the most recent forecast we saw so it won't be trouble tomorrow.

Tough day for me though. Not because of mom but I had a headache start yesterday and it lasted until this afternoon. I didn't sleep at all so when we got home and had lunch and I cleaned the dishes and got dinner as set as I could I pretty much crashed. I just hope I don't have that problem tonight. Hopefully I'll be more with it so I can read and post a bit more after I get some real rest.

Took mom back to the dr so he could remove the patch and check her eye. All looks good. He'll check it again in a week and then a half week after that she will have the other eye done.

I did get some better sleep last night. Well, I guess nearly any would be better than the none from the night before. lol I so did not want to get out of bed this morning. Too cold in the house (super windy today).
