Hi all. I've been marathon watching The Man in the High Castle. Finished it this morning. Really good. Not much else is going on, except the mosquitos are trying to haul us off. Ugh.

G'morning Everyone :D Today we might go to brunch (dependent on the rest of the house getting their booty out of bed). We ARE going to walk around the nature preserve sometime, which I'm looking forward to. For now though, enjoying open windows and lots of natural light.

My allergies have finally been giving me a break. All last week I was congested and coughing. Wasn't sleeping well because of it. Last night was the best night's sleep I've gotten. Hopefully I'm all good now, though. We've got rain right now, and all day yesterday. I hope it ends soon because I just got some paint pens to fix that scratch on my car's door handle from last year. I am scared for California with all the rain they are getting. There's been some major damage and flooding over there. I'm also ticked off that they hadn't really fixed any of the structural problems they knew were there. That's why there is a problem with the Oroville Damn. Most of my friends still live there.

Hii bb <3 Had to take a break yesterday. Drank w/ my brother, wifey and a coworker Saturday night and my sis kept making us shots. 😳 It was also sort of a "me" day, where I finally lightened my hair to near-platinum, after reading what I needed to do and not listening to the noobs they have at Sally's these days, then I did a hair treatment and fixed up my nails while it was sitting on my head. This all took around 4-5hrs. But anyway, yesterday I only got up to eat, get in an episode of Humans and then fell right back to sleep. :P Thank you for the flowers! I'm really in no rush -to get laid- lol so don't worry if you don't have much. I'll keep on collecting but I've got over 300 more to go. 😞

I've been following the stories about the flooding in Cali. The last thing I read, I think there were 16 reservoirs that were greater than 90% capacity. You're right - no one wants to put in the money to fix stuff. Just like New Orleans - it's like they just want to tempt fate by saying "it'll never happen" or in the case of Cali, I think it may be a matter of them thinking it would be more cost effective to let it flood. Sorry your sinuses have been bothering you so much.

I don't mind bugs, really. The only thing I don't tolerate well is spiders. Oh, and nasty bugs like roaches.

I am planning on visiting dmy's restaurant tomorrow for the first time. It is like an hour drive is why I haven't yet and it kept being icy. I can't wait to see these viruses fully mature.

I had never seen the moth this zombie is supposedly based on, it is actually pretty cute. Probably more so because it is pink and yellow. :) Hope you have a good time visiting the restaurant.

Yeah, why fix anything anymore? I think the issue with Cali is that it passes taxes to fix the stuff, puts the money in the general fund, which then leads to the money being used for other things even though the tax raise was for the roads, dams, etc. Talk about misdirection! But mostly, they just keep putting stuff off until it breaks instead of fixing it when they were warned about it. They were warned about the Oroville Dam over 10 years ago. Just no excuse. Yay for a you day! Sounds pretty relaxing :)
