No, but it works now! Arm is doing better since the break.
You broke your arm or your HA did? Did I miss something? How are your ribs and other assorted ills?
I'm doing pretty good. Went to my eye dr Thurs and was told my cataracts are large enough and thick enough to be removed. But she said she wouldn't recommend it unless it was really bothering me, esp with glare. They do bother me some but not really enough to warrant surgery, at least not yet. So I would rather wait. Nothing diabetic related, no bleeding, so yay for that. Was bothered tho because she found the beginning of Macular Degeneration. Not what I wanted to hear.
Yes not my year since May, Tuesday evening I fell climbing a couple of steps to enter a building a guy passed in front of me talking on the phone I got dizzy and fell in the doorway. Got home and once my coat was off I knew something was wrong. Pain in the forearm and i couldn't even brush my fingers with a touch, Went to bed hoping it would improve. It didn't. Called my doctors office and spoke with her nurse and she called ahead to the orthopedic trama ex-ray scheduled an appt had enough time to eat and take my meds and grab a cab, Was very lucky to only have broken my radius near the wrist, Reset the bone by using traction and it only took about 10 minutes, then the cast and done, so lucky not to need surgery. OMG. just finished reading your post. Macular Degeneration, can that be slowed down or reversed? Terrible either way, my heart goes out yo you. Last eye dr visit my cataracts were still babies and had not grown - hope to God they never do.
Somehow he moved just when i was mid stride after opening the door. Thru me off. The thing that gets me is he saw me going down and did;t even try to help till I was down.
Guess his reflexes were off because of the phone. I know mine are seriously lacking. At least he did try even if it was too late. I hope you heal quickly. I haven't ever broken my arm, but I have had to wear a brace for a long time from a bad sprain. On my right hand too, my main one. No fun at all. interferes with everything. Is it your main hand too?
Of course! Doing anything with just one hand is very hard. And of course I lost the plastic sleeve he gave me so i could shower.
Did you say you could get help with things around the house? They call it attendant services here. If so, you certainly need it now. Grocery shopping and everything will be so much harder if not impossible too. Oh gosh how awful. I don't remember if you've said, but do you have any pets? Caring for one might be hard too.
Yes, I have a home health aide that comes for 3 hours every Monday. She helps with laundry and that is huge as I have to go outside around the building and down a flight of rickety wrought iron steps to the basement and there are 2 washers and 2 dryers. Can't lift and carry much weight either due to the heart now so she is a blessing. Also, another lady brings Meals on Wheels Monday thru Friday, Saturday and Sunday comes with Friday. Did call the office and left a message yesterday to ask if there were any services available, Need to shop for food. There are new high risers a few blocks from me that recently opened a small market with an excellent section of fresh Lebanese food. Went there last night and did bring home food, Called out for a Haddock delivery earlier. They send a huge yummy piece of fish, a big salad and two huge baked potatoes. So between last night and tonight I have food in the house till Monday. Thankfully I don't have pets. Couldn't afford vet bills so no pets,

Hey everyone. How are we all doing today? I'm having a bit of issues sleeping... seeing a new OB tomorrow. My other OB is too booked with surgeries for the next week to see me, so I'm a bit anxious tonight.
I hope masq has been treating you all well despite the lag!
I hope you can sleep soon and thank you!
Yeah the lag is seriously bumming me out. I had hoped it wouldn't be as laggy as survival had been. But it is worse...
Yeah. I had gone to bed because I was getting worked up over it. Some pages are still sticking buuuut it looks a bit better now. I hope it holds out!
Site is working much better this morning and I am so glad. I was stressing out to much.
Not here long, hubby has an appointment at the skin clinic. will try to be back this afternoon sometime.

Mornin' KSrs
Sorry not been around much or chatting when I am. Just not feeling like it lately. Not been playing subeta that much either. And the recent lag fest has not helped that. Glad I have leftover trinkets to buy what I want since my dancing has been little. Have not quested even my basic shinwa, wiz, library, blue and quentin in days. Hope the worst of the lag gets gone for good.

"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
Grouse time for me. Last week broke my right arm, couple of days later my cable remote died and a day later the seemingly solid computer chair left arm broke right off when I lightly leaned on it. Thank God I didn't fall out of the chair. This am it took 3 phone calls to the same company before a different phone I used was even recognized, But at least they are going to replace it for free, all I had to pay was $9 for faster shipping and should have it in a day or two. Just hope no one rings the door bell as it goes to that phone. The lady that brings my lunch caught a neighbor going out and was able to get to bring my lunch and now can reach me at the temp number which I had reported.
How awful for you! Feel free to vent any time. So glad you didn't fall out of the chair!
The lag has been a major source of sheer irritation for me too. They fixed it and then it started up again last night, tho nothing like it had been thank goodness. But the least little bit after that horrible time was just bad on my freaking nerves. Glad you have extra trinkets. too, let me know if you need trinkets, I have some.
Hope husband's dr visit was a good one.
they froze some pre cancerous spots on his head and neck but other than that , yep it was okay.
ty for asking
is there anything I can do for ya?

My husband and I had to make a really hard announcement today. After a little over 2 years we closed our restaurant. He is a chef, baker, and pastry chef with all sorts of experience in the kitchen but owning a restaurant proved too much for us. He's such a good cook. I don't regret doing the restaurant. We just didn't have enough time to figure it out. He's currently exploring his options. I will keep on being a substitute teacher when baby allows.
