Just had a do nothing day. Did do some exercising. Go me! Need to questing more often but it is sooooooooooo boring.

It was 21 degrees this morning when I got up. so I'm staying home today.
I went out yesterday to get some groceries and we had snow flurries and wind gusts up to 30 miles and hour. If I didn't have to go I would have stayed home yesterday too.

I am glad they gave the info on the sale. Had bad headache today. Think I might have napped for fifteen minutes. Thanksgiving kind of creeping us on us Americans in the states.

Thought the BF sale would start a day sooner. Looking forward to seeing any new stuff. Was hoping they'd open up the CW pawn shop again but so far they've not said so.

Ice storm today. Well, overnight. Hoping it warms up enough for most of the ice on the driveway and in parking lots to go away. Roads mostly should be fine with treatment. Mom has a dr appt late this afternoon and we'll likely not get out until after dark. Not looking forward to the rain possibly turning back to sleet or freezing rain before we get home. Trees that already lost their leaves look pretty all frozen. The ones with leaves just look sad. :(

hope you didn't have any damage from the ice storm. When we lived in Ky. ice storms were normal but it's been so long that I've forgotten what trees with ice look like. hopefully I won't see any soon.

glad to get info on the black friday sales. looking forward to the new stuff as well as the older items I missed. hopefully I'll be able to get a few.

My dr talked me into getting the 2nd pneumonia shot. I absolutely refused the flu shot because of getting miserably sick when I had it before. Well, I've been miserably sick this week and it feels like flu not pneumonia. Grrr. I asked twice which shot it was and now I'm suspicious tho I must say I really don't think they switched it. Maybe just my bad luck. Blaaaah. Hate feeling this way. Ugh. Anyway, hope everyone has a better day than me.

1. Do you prefer to be called by your username or another name? Have you had any other usernames prior to this one? Mono is just fine thank you! I've never had another username.

2. What are your interests on Subeta? (Human Avatars/Pets/Battle/Restocking etc. ) Primarily dressing up my HA and doing quests (esp Wizard and Sagittarius quests!). I also like chatting with other people!

3. How often do you play on site and will you be active within the group? I've waffled between playing every day and not playing for months... But I'm trying to be more active again. :) Of course I'd want to be active in the group!

4. Why are you interested in joining Kindred Spirits? Are you currently in any other groups? As I mentioned before, I've never been in a forum group, so I'm not in any other groups. I really love the friendliness of Subeta, and I feel like that's mirrored in KS! Plus, what a great way to meet new people, eh?

5. Tell us a bit about you! (This doesn't have to be lengthy or detailed you can save that for your introduction in the cult! Think of this as an ice breaker question. ) I'm a full time graduate student in Chemical Engineering (emphasis nanotechnology)! I'm living in eastern Canada right now, though my partner and my rabbit are still back in California. Outside of research and class (that's a joke, there is nothing outside of that), I box, knit, and write! Nice to meet y'all :)

There was an ice storm in KY the first year my brother was living in Louisville. He had no power for days. He hasn't had one since thankfully. We weren't too bothered by this one. It ended up so we got more snow/rain mix than ice. Though there was one area further south that had just the ice and lost power for a couple days.

Ah how cute! Mini rex's are adorable. We adopted my rabbit, Tiberius, so we're not quite sure what he is, but we think at least part harlequin!

ice is nothing new here either. a couple of years ago we were without power for a week. I almost died without my internet lol. That's how spoiled I am.
