Ah I don't think so. I'll just be here to cheer you all on when new challengers come but I think just having something to mindlessly do for an hour or so is better than nothing.

Thats not something I have seen the BAs actually say, its something that I just kinda assumed, and it makes sense. Raising the price of the challenger doesn't really change the price of the weapon all that much either though, just puts a higher soft cap on the price of the thing.

What they need to do to release a very high end weapon is to make it an achievment reward like baal. Then it retains value. GOTF retains value since its a scroll, ect.

It also doesn't stop them from making good weapons, its just that there needs to pretty much always be space between the good challenger loot and the best weapons, unless they are behind T13 challengers or achievement prize walls

I mean, it doesn't have to be a god weapon. It can be something like the syringe that is a very good weapon, but not a god weapon. With most of the scaling weapons, I find even at the highest tier they are still only mediocre at best. I wish they would release more weapons like AU, the syringe, and malhuili (even though I hate the light/ice block).

I would say that Malhuili and TKSS are straight up god weapons, and AU is probably pretty close (like BTotBO level).

The 50/50 icon block set up is potentially more powerful than a single 100 icon block, since it is much easier to saturate 2 50s, than it is to saturate 1 100 block.

I hope to never see malhuili as a weapon on a CS challenger.

I consider a god weapon to be 10%, 4 mod slots, 41+ damage and 100 block. The 100 block could be a 50/50 split, but still high block and high heal. Malhuili, unstable syringe, and AU I would consider the same as blessed trident, OHS, and DGR and call them semi-god since the heal is less not all have 4 mod slots, and does not have as big a block. The tainted staff definitely can be god weapon status depending on your build. If your strength is higher than your defense though it falls into that semi-god category.

Malhuili will never be released as a CS challenger weapon, but I would like it if more weapons similar to these semi-god weapons were made available through series challengers, or as achievement prizes or TBT challenger prizes, or challenger event prizes like the panzer hydra.

- I suppose I will have the same problem since I don't want to buy expensive weapons for each tier unless they are still useful at T12/T13. :-) Fortunately, I do have a lot of patience, so will probably just train and wait to beat some of those opponents. (Although I have been thinking about buying some additions to my armory if I could just figure out which ones would be reasonably affordable as well as most useful.) Actually, after looking at your weapon list, I will have a lot more trouble unless I buy a whole stack of new weapons - I can't believe that you have all of that and are still having battle problems - wow!

Scroll??? What's a scroll?? :-) My scrolls are extremely limited - although I do have an Aftershocks scroll and one Cobalt Eternal that have proved very helpful. I don't think I have any of the other serious battle scrolls yet and am totally confused as to which ones would even make sense to start with (although I'm starting to think a Perilous Whirlpool or two might be a good purchase - they seem to be mentioned often and were very helpful in fighting that hydra - - should I make them or do you want to start selling some of your heap?)

I applaud your determination and persistence in your battle quests to beat General Error and Flamagia - and, yes, you will beat Crawbeast as well.

Actually, I hope to have a chance soon to see if Tos has any chance without borrowing another box of weapons. I am trying to start working at least a little bit on having a few useful high end weapons of my own. :-) Meanwhile - go get 'em Oranos!

Hey, guys. Anybody got any helpful tips for beating Sophie? I've beaten her 4 times, but want the fifth for the paintbrush blades.

My battlepet Bligthe has 1830 strength/defense/speed and 2250 health, and is only 250 points away from tier 11, so I'd love to get my hands on the pbb.

I freeze her, then blast her, then use my two main weapons (chosen for stacked water damage and healing) to wear her down, healing big when I need to, but between her protective bubble blessing, 1000p heal, and occasional crits, I can't hold out long enough anymore. Am I just trying too early? Should I just train and BQ and wait? Or is there a different weapons combo I could try?

I'm also working on getting 10 wins on General Error, but after 5 wins he's stopped me dead.

Thanks, it was annoyingly tedious but doable.

- tedious isn't so bad if you can distract yourself somehow while battling. My problem is when the battles make me tense. :-) Seriously though, not sure why so much of battling winds up being tedious when this is a game site and things are supposed to be fun! On the other hand, we all seem to enjoy doing it at some level or we wouldn't be here. A conundrum. :-) I do know that, thanks to all the great battlers on this thread, I seem to be enjoying battling more and more lately.

Patience is a virtue, ;) Though in all honesty, I think it's a quality all battlers should have because battling ain't easy all the time, plus it takes a good while to get your pet to the point of breezing through battles haha.

My latest addition to my armory was the Prodigy Staff (18m), and the RotL from the Antique Shop (65m, I think? 😶) I still need to continue updating the weapon list.... and challenger list as well but I found it too tedious so took a small break haha.

I had two Cobalt Eternal scrolls until very recently when I expanded my stock to 5, but other than that, I lack them badly. I'm hoping to make one or two Perilous Whirlpool scrolls (so I won't spend too much), and this will apply to all scrolls that aren't battle loot :P

I am very impressed! :o I feel like it'll take me a good while still, before I'll be able to beat him with my first pet, but capping it with 3 pets already is beyond me haha!
