I wish I could say the same! I had one turn where I was about to beat him and got hit hard with 38 HP remaining. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest. I did not want to do another round 😛
Boss fights have their place, but they can be tiring. I liked how they did it last time though, where they took your best damage from only 1/3 so you didn't have to fight all of them if you couldn't or just didn't want to.
yeah, their place is the garbage can :P
last time was a much improved process and yet I still hate them. I prefer a challenger like this honestly. something with a bit for everyone, last one being pretty tough for most people
Tbh I'm at a crossroad rn when it comes to stat distribution. I've been dumping stats into health for so long I'm just afraid it might hurt if I opt for speed instead. I think my investment in health sort of helps me deal with opponents up to Crawbeast much earlier than I thought I could, given my unimpressive scroll set and lack of speed XD
If there's no major change Hanson will have around 14,300 core stats by the time Rouland is released this Morostides. I'm not sure if I could manage a couple wins against him this year but I'm trying to shape my stats around his and it's making my head hurt really :D
Currently Hanson has: near 2,700 Strength 2,700 Def 3,900 HP 1,870 Sp
I'm using the TC for level and speed so I've got a pretty good control over training time. I guess by October Hanson will have around 2,100 Sp 2,700 Str / 2,700 Def / 3,900 HP and 2,200 undistributed stats (not counting EXP from TBT and CS challengers - there are a few CS challengers I haven't finished) My plan is to distribute those stats so that my pet's build by then would be: 3,500 Str/ 3,500 Def / 4,500 HP / 2,100 Sp
Or should I distribute those stats differently? If I up Hanson's speed then which stats should I neglect for the time being?
I got one win lol. I think I can squeeze out another. 3 wins might be crazy talk x.x;
No problem at al! Happy my strategy could help someone else out. :D
I think I used one of my healers in one fight because I got a crit against me and I didn't want to take a chance xD
dumping in health early is really nice, you're right it helps you take on bigger challengers earlier. you have a long way to go so you don't really need to worry. just pick a final build and work on it slowly =)
what stats are you at? he's an annoying challenger if you don't have the health to really tank him, so I think one win is something to be proud of :)
It is more fun this way, to do it at your own pace and try again later if you get frustrated. I don't like boss battles very much either, but I dunno if they'll ever be gotten rid of completely. At least once a year or every two years or so isn't too bad I guess.
keep the gelatins the same, don't add new loot to the boss so people who already did well in previous years can opt out if they want (opens up room for new blood too) and just add the new loot to the challengers, and only have the jelly war as the only boss battle. I'd be happy with that xD
Anyone know roughly how much of a struggle the last hydra is?
Stats for my T13:
Level: 1,731 Strength: 5,010 Defense: 4,333 Speed: 4,325 Health: 8,504
General battle set:

I also have about 1.5mil exp and maybe 200 stat boosters to use if need be, but I don't really want to use that last medal if it's pointless.
Health costs so much EXP at T13. It's best that you boosted it early :D I wouldn't worry too much about your speed. You still have a lot of time to try different things with your stats.
That wouldn't be too bad, it seems like it's already kind of like that though isn't it? With the gelatins at least, I don't think there were any new prizes last year (at least not the top prizes).
At least I managed to get a core last time, because I'm not sure if I'd be able to do it again. :P
I'll just worry about trying to beat the rest of the ones for the achievements and such next time.
I'm still missing a lot of the scrolls and big weapons that I read you big guys use. will re stock my shards pylonics and throwing vials and try tonight.
at least i can beat all 30 BQ now almost all days thats something!
I wish I could go back in time..
you can probably get to at least 5 wins, may have to borrow some things but your stats are there
there were some new prizes I think? I'd have to look, I don't remember. I wouldn't mind new achievements and smaller jellies too, that'd be great
I'm sure someone will lend you what you need if you post on here :) good luck!
I am super proud of Verdugo. I wasn't sure if he could do it. My stats were 5,905 hp/ 3,880 strength/3,280 defense/3,115 speed. +- 5 stats
Thank you for the input. I'll stick with the original plan then and see if my luck would help me pick up a Shriek later this year XD
have you tried for another win yet?
good luck! :)
and hopefully it's not too much longer until we can attempt to win more smashers too :)
Not yet, I'm at work. I will try again tonight
You inspired me to invest a lot in Batpod's health :D Not only has it made a big difference in which opponents he can beat earlier, but I think his stats will grow faster later on once I have health out of the way. If you have low speed, though, I think using strong healers becomes more important so you can absorb those crit hits. Some people who have battling longer than I have insist speed isn't as important. If they can make it work, so can you.
