I pretty much always vend at Ocean Depths whenever I do vend, but I don't really vend for the Riptide specifically. Usually I do it when I need more junk to frag for crystals, or like now when we have a chance to get a few of the Keel Hauliday items.

Agreed! I saw 14 items in there and I tried to get 3 all sold out before I could snag one!

I've only seen anything in there twice and they were all gone as soon as I clicked on one. The pirate shop is basically black heart hollow that opens for only 10 days a year. Wish they would change that, make it restock more often with more items. It's just really frustrating and no fun.

Yup. That's my opinion too. I usually end up buying the things I want at marked up prices if I have enough sp or want to spend that much sp.

Welll.... Drunk Carl Quests were not great. 😞 Prices were pretty inflated for the items he was asking for so I maybe broke even.

For what it's worth, I have bought several items from the Freyalise (mostly books - including several of the new ones). You pretty much need to be refreshing when the shop stocks. Usually, especially at the start of the holiday, you will either get one thing - or none, so pick FAST! If you want to make any attempt to get more than one item, then make sure the purchase opens in a new tab so the store stays in front of you. Don't check to see if your first purchase succeeded or your timer was done, just keep trying to purchase anything you might be happy to have. Older items that have come back (ones closer to the top) often stay a fraction longer so they can be a good second choice target (or even first choice target!). I hope that helps. Good Luck.

As far as Blackheart Hollow goes - if something shows up,, I am almost always able to buy it. And finding something there is just a matter of visiting the maximum number of times allowed regularly all day anytime you are on Subeta. If you do that (and also make sure that you always have enough tokens in your currency bank to purchase) then you will be able to buy things there. There are times I still think I will never ever see anything there again, but something always shows up sooner or later. In fact, I am able to buy things regularly (not frequently) since I learned this. According to the achievement, the last thing I found was my 70th purchase. I have missed a couple of things - usually due to lag or my mistake in reacting (if I was really tired, for example) but usually if something shows up, you should be able to buy. Again, hoping that helps and wishing you all good luck.

There are two different versions of Jacques, maybe you were thinking of the one in the Normal tab? He's not there right now though, because his special version is out. The Keel Hauliday Captain version is a lot tougher than his regular version.
