I'd do something like shinwas temple shard and helmet turn one, turn two item hunter bomb and the rapier, and hope you can freeze him.

thanks for the advice :D I tried that and I was able to somehow, after being struck by him and surviving, do 3 hits on him before I died. First one did ~800, then ~300 then another ~600. yay xD

Hidden fees are annoying. There's another website that similar to Esty, called Storenvy that doesn't have a hidden fees, but I haven't looked into. I found out about it from this thread [topic not found] I don't want to work at a desk or drive into town for work, so I just need something that can supplement whatever income I have coming from my cattle. What are some things you and your daughter like to do together? If there are crafty things you both like to do (and you'd be interested in selling them), you could always let her add her own flair to items that would make them unique.

I found 3 that I sort of liked, but they all put too much focus on the image at the top and shoved profile information down. If I ever teach myself how to code, I could try making my own.

Alexander gave me some books, but his sP rewards seemed to be lower yesterday than they were on Thursday (a few times he only gave me about 20K sP). Maleria has given me decent sP amounts and the typical dark matter items she gives. I don't get why they bumped the goal up so high, when we barely reached the 750K goal last time. When I got off last night, we weren't at 700K quests completed yet, which to really give us a fighting chance at reaching the goal, we needed. I tried battling and questing at the same time, and I ended up focusing on questing more. If everyone just took the time to finish all their quests (which doesn't take much time if there isn't lag) and then went on to battling, we might be closer to the goal.

This is frustrating. I still have a bunch of quests to get done so haven't been able to battle at all. It's dumb and annoying that they expect us to do both and it sounds from the news posts that most people are battling to get the prizes. Which is why the quest contest will probably fail. :(

@ kbbob I really hope this format comes back next gelatin war and there's no other event going on at the same time x: I'm even more skeptical than before about my ability to get 5mil damage.

I did 200 battles last night and checked my damage and it was only ~312k total. Those 200 battles took 2 hours xD Well, it's because my short attention span...

Focusing and going as fast as I can, I just managed to do 200 more battles in 1 hour this time. But it's really hard to stay focused @ _ @ basically, I might have the time if I had the attention span...

Agreed, very frustrating (especially with the lag I encountered yesterday- 6 hours to do all my quests) I've finished 30 quests so far today and I'm trying to the get the rest done before lunch. I'll be very upset if we don't reach the goal by the end of tomorrow because of how much of my own time I've put into completing quests. I always start to get burnt out towards the end of quest-a-thon's but I always try to complete all my quests for the day. I'm still agree with the users that believe we've been set up to fail. I hope staff will take note that somethings cannot occur at the same time and there needs to be a heads up about it. The newsletter came out too late, what two days into the quest-a-thon? That's two days lost where some people could have helped out. And the timing is terrible too, any school age players don't have a whole lot of time in the evenings to spend online if they have other things to do. I haven't read any comments on the news posts lately, but I'm assuming a lot of people are focusing on battling the gellies. I've only battles the minis 5 times, and that was on the first day of the war. Right now over 762K quests have been completed, which leaves about 238K to complete today and tomorrow, and I don't know if that is a doable number this late in the game.

Even though I'm no longer in school I'm in the same category as the school age players since I work full time and live alone so have tons of stuff to do at home in the evenings and on weekends. There is just no way I can both get all the quests done and battle. Also I don't like the new battle format where I have to keep scrolling down to see how much damage/healing I've done. Why can't they make the window bigger to show everything.

I'm not in school and I work at home, but I still have other things that need to get done before they are on the back burner for too long. I'm hoping to start reorganizing my craft supplies today or help my mom tidy up her sewing room. Either way, I try to get my quests done as soon as I can so I can work on other things. But when the lag I've been encountering rears its ugly head, it only makes me spend more time doing quests.

I don't like how everything is squished on that page now. It is nice to have a visual of how many items I can use while battling, because if I haven't done it for a while I never remember how many weapons I can use at once. But now that the damage info in is a smaller space, I don't pay as much attention to it.

thank you :D I have currently lost to the hydragellos 670 times. I will lose my way to victory... xD At 9pm I'll be able to check my total damage again, before then I'm going to fight as much as possible. Well I'm just happy that I have the chance to get the core this time. :)

That sounds like a better site :) Emily isn't crafty. Things like that tend to frustrate her. I am not sure I could make anything that anyone would want to pay for lol. I haven't beat him much yet because healing and freezing are disabled, and my pet doesn't have enough health yet to withstand his attacks in a full battle as he gets tougher.

It sounds to me as if everybody is battling (except me). Are you getting all your quests done first or did you give up on the questathon?
