They don't really have to be super active, but there are a few things that they have to do. I can't remember all of them, but she didn't even make a pet. She basically signed up and never went back. :(

And a couple years ago I had someone sign up, make a pet, buy something, just enough to give me the referral point and then they never came back again. And I have no idea who it was. Snowball fight later. sigh It's gonna take years to get the snowball achievement.

I just wanted the referral point lol. I am sure she thinks I am silly for loving this site, but I don't care :P

I used to never have the room, but I couldn't put up with the complaining. However, now I have the room and Chris told me he doesn't care if the tree stays up all year. May have to look for some decorations I can put on it during different seasons. 😊 One year, I had to repack all the storage tubs to fit all the decorations I've acquired. I think I'll need another storage tub, since I've now acquired lights and some more ornaments.

I didn't keep up with the Vesnali items from this year or last year, but I'll have to snoop around the shop.

Have a mixture of winter weather and spring weather here. Its cold in the mornings and evenings but then warmer in the afternoons. Its been around freezing temperatures in the mornings. I always have a hard time breathing in cold weather too, especially if I'm doing a lot of walking around or strenuous work.

Chris and I are still at 50% in terms of gifts for family, but I haven't gotten any gifts for Chris. Chris and I have stockings at my parents' house and his parents' house, but we don't have stockings for our home. I do however have to let my mom know what sweets I would like in my stockings.

Thank you. I should have made time today to work, but I finished building a pen for my puppy and worked on getting boxes moved to different rooms for easier unpacking. I never tried to make my own doll clothes, but I have patterns if I ever do. Could try making the shoes out of hot glue on a doll picked up from a thrift store, that way, if the feet are ruined, its not a doll that means something to you or your niece. I'm rubbish when it comes to making anything with clay (or any sort).

I did slowly learn to not feel bad about saying 'no' with the job I had a couple years ago. I kept getting asked to pick up more hours at other group homes on the weekends I didn't work. However with family gatherings, I always feel like its expected that everyone brings a food dish, so I feel some pressure to make sure its a good dish. But I think if I hosted a Christmas party next year on my own, I would be too overwhelmed with cleaning and cooking.

Chris and I finally got out tree up Thursday evening and we'll try to decorate it tomorrow night when Chris gets home from drill. I've slowly been figuring out where I want to put other Christmas decorations, I just need to put them out know. Chris has some Star Wars ornaments that he puts up, otherwise he just helps with the lights and tinsel.

I was out shopping last week and I forgot to look for more of the tinsel that I bought last year. I don't even know if I have enough of the white tinsel I've used in the past since I have a new tree.

The puppy now has a pen outside, that she can at least run around in during the day. We've got a dog house in there for her as well, but I don't think that will be warm enough for her to stay outside with colder winter weather coming.

I was pretty happy with my purchases from Gamestop on Black Friday. There were a few other games that had decent sale prices that I wanted to purchase, but I didn't want to go crazy. I looked at the flyer the salesman handed me, saw that the biggest part of their 'sale' was the buy 3 get 1 free deal. I put the flyer down and walked out. I love thrift shopping after Christmas! Its the best time to find deals, because it always seems like new items show up as well as barely used items. I listened to some Christmas rock a few days ago. I need to get my Celtic Christmas music out to listen to.

I don't enjoy the blank blue screens, but the 'snow' effect reminds me of a visual sign I would get before a migraine, a small spot of shimmery 'tv snow' that would be somewhere in my line of vision.

Ah December, the month of multiple family Christmas gatherings. Every Sunday this month, except for tomorrow, I will spend traveling somewhere for a Christmas get-together.

It was very good 😊. The pulled beef was a pre-cooked frozen package that just had to be warmed in the microwave, so it made for a quick and easy supper. Monday, I'll make chicken noodle soup in the evening.

I think I do too. I try not hit the finger that's bruised, but I keep forgetting about it and its on my dominant hand, as well.

It should, however anything 4 feet off the ground still seems to be fair game. She chewed a hole in her bed and pulled stuffing out, so I put it on top of our grill. Last night, she pulled the bed down, along with a few other things and pulled more stuffing out of a larger hole. I can't remember where I heard that chocolate is bad for dogs, but I made sure that my parents knew, so that the dog I grew up with didn't ever get anything chocolate. And I always made sure the cats never got anything chocolate as well.

Well, she has 9 toys at her disposal and a rope that we use for tug of war to wear her out. I finished building her pen today, with the help of my parents, so she now has a safe, enclosed space to run around in during the day. She's three months old now, but I don't know if she can handle being outside in the cold weather over night, even with a thick walled dog house filled with straw.

Leaving the tree up all year with different decorations is a good idea. My office has a half size Xmas tree up all year and someone decorates it for each holiday.

Yes, being on your dominant hand makes it a lot harder to keep it out of harm's way.

Turns out that a lot of different people foods are bad for animals. And it's a slightly different list for dogs and for cats.

I've never had an outside dog, so don't know when she would be old enough to stay out in her dog house. And dogs can be very different. I had an Alaskan Malamute who loved the snow and would lie on an air conditioner vent in the summer and a German Shepherd who got cold really fast when the two of them went out together. Of course, she had a lot less hair and didn't have the same kind of undercoat that he had.

I used to love coming up with different ways to decorate the tree for all the holidays. The Dollar Tree was a great place to find unconventional tree decorations :D My favorite was when I decorated the tree for Spring/Easter. I had pretty easter eggs with ribbons and little pastel watering cans. Then for a tree topper I used a bunch of fake flowers. I even found some pastel garland. It was very pretty!
