<p>I recently got myself an adult colouring book! And OMG it&;s fantastic! Not only is it fun, but it is very relaxing and helps get your mind off things.</p>

Today has been a scary and stressful day, to say the least, so this is a lovely treat!
Re: advent calendars - yes!! My mom always got our family one as kids - no chocolate, just a message or image behind each. Now that I live across the country, she sends me one every year for my birthday (Dec 1). Still love them!
It won't let me post my coloring :( :( Well or I am too technologically incompetent to figure it out. Either way.

so cute today! the rhyme made me giggle! Oh, and I know there was one in the last couple days about crafts and I thought it was crazy timing because I'm making my relatives something for christmas. If I can remember I'll have to share a pic of it when I get home. :)
WOW the is adorable! I especially liked the Subordinate Clauses joke, definitely going to use that one.
As far as crafts, I try to make snowflakes every year to get in the festive spirit. In my apartment we have a 'dictionary tree' set up on a wall that's basically a background of dictionary pages with a brown construction paper tree (~6 ft tall) on top of it. We've been changing the decor based on the seasons, so for autumn we put colorful fall leaves on the tree, and just replaced them with homemade snowflakes last weekend. I'll post a pic when I can!
I've made some cool ornaments before, too (chrismas trees out of wire and snowflakes from wire & beads), but no time the last couple years.
