Ok. So I was getting ready to take a nap when it hit me. Why not make eeveelution subq lines. I even have a few ideas for what they could look like. We can also do other pokemon lines. Even if we couldn't get them, I'm going to be printing out some wardrobe ha bases to draw on because I want to see it even if it's only for me.

How bout a Charmander line?

I like Pokemon, but not too sure if I want more Pokemon-specific stuff. If anything, some subq or delish sets based in Pokemon types could be interesting.

This could be based on the Betamon items released during the EPICon event. In fact, if there's ever another EPICon, it'd be cool to see SubQ designers come out with some video game inspired outfits for the event.

Why not frame it as a sort of designer fashion cosplay kind of thing? I support some kind of epicon again and having them as high priced items, or getting some kind of voucher via RE like subq invites that allows you in a special designer boutique

I prefer the idea of type-related lines instead. Not that I would turn down a Darkrai set (or anything Darkrai related......pls), but I think types instead opens it up for more useable individual pieces vs. sets related to specific pokemon

IRL, we have a brand called Her Universe. They host a fashion show, for unknown designers to bring their geeky designs to life. Her Universe then... Awards something? I don't follow it, but there's a lot of creativity in it. Now Her Universe makes geeky apparel for ladies: Pokemon, a long-standing contract with Studio Ghibli, Star Trek, Marvel, etc. Its not cheaply made, going-to-be-destroyed-in-one-wear either. Definitely nice.

How this relates to Subeta, Kisrah suggested SubQ come out with geeky outfits. Why not have a fashion show/challenge again for, potentially, another EPICon? Different designers can create something worthy of geekdom. Hosted by Esmeralde and Nico/Manwhar. >:D

I'm always a slut for anything Pokemon, I would definitely be down for something like this (or the Betamon-esque stuff like said).

Yeah, but it would be nice to have something that the common man could get too, haha! And having a whole set would be ideal as opposed to just a couple items.

Or we could do more Lyrical lines for Subeta's pets instead? I wasn't a fan of the first two, but Lyrical Bumbus was pretty neat and I love the idea behind that Subeautique line. I know Pokemon's popular (I love it, too) but Subeta has its own species for this kind of thing.

Fair point, but that kind of goes against Subeta's general mentality of "You can have this, you just have to quest for x amount of days to save up for it and it's easily doable." Whereas a huge selling point when I was signing up for Subeta was what I could get that day with my newbieness.

Lyrical lines are more interesting than fanstuff. We have Giselle for fanstuff, and the way it's done is more interesting than just fan items. The mashup of pop music and fairy tales is wonderful and we need more Giselle and Lyrical lines

I actually really like this thought, of having geeky SBQ sets come out through an EpiCon!(I could even see these coming as boxed set-type things, e.g. [Designer] Dark Box, and you open it and it has all the [Designer] Dark items.) I could maybe even see this turn into a userbase contest: Design a SBQ set (sew, draw, collage, describe, whatever) based on your favorite [s]Poke[s]Betamon/Betamon type, or your favorite geeky book, tv show, movie, game, whatever.
Or maybe something like that fashion contest we had a while back (the one that gave us the Verdi New Bloom set): Different SBQ designers competing to make the best geeky line, and the top 5 or however many win.

^^^ pretty much this! We have a lot of pets who need some love - I'm sure the Lyrical line could even stem off into experiment pets eventually.

Tres Chic was juuuust before my time - Judging by the news post though, it sounded like a pretty interesting event.

The Camilo designer sounds like they would be totally perfect for an experiment lyrical-esque line, actually... now I just want Tres Chic 2017 competition to happen lol :$
