Hello again Andy! I've returned after a lot of personal deliberation, but I am not entirely sure if you'd be interested. This character is male, but I am looking for something a bit more youthful and cute despite what you'll see in his reference image. As to prepare you for the subject the character I am about to put before you is a merman, a gold/orange fish with extremely long hair. That part I imagine would be complicated. The first image is my character and the second is the picture I used as inspiration before getting art.

i'm not used to drawing dwarves, so i hope it looks fine to you ;_; the main thing i took from one of your references was the width and angularity of the dwarven face, so i tried to convey that as well as i could in the sketch. hope you like it!

i hope you're fine with the colors, i went with a somewhat more muted palette cos more saturated colors looked way too bright and weird (for me anyway.) plus this way, the colors kinda go with each other and don't clash as much?
