Unless the wait time is now 24 hours, it's still happening to me. I pounded a pet yesterday, and adopted a new one, and it still shows the pounded pet in the drop down today.
Sounds like it might be a cache thing on the site side then. Hopefully your menu updates soon!

I have this problem with Potts. I created her two days ago and she is not showing up in my drop down. Not on my laptop, phone or tablet.
Just to update: 4 days after I pounded a pet, it's still showing in the pets dropdown. If it really is just cache, it's going really really slow...
I thought this was just me! I created a pet yesterday who still isn't showing up.

Ok guys here is the deal! There was a cache error that was set at a week for some reason. So if you created your pet or abandoned it prior to the fix that was done around 2:30, then the cache will still take some time for you. Like if you created/abandoned yesterday, it will still be six days (sorry). But from now on, it should work normally.

Thanks for the update. c: I guess this can be locked then. Unless you want us to wait a while and confirm the menu is updating as normal again?
I'm still waiting on a change to pet order I made earlier today. This'll be fixed now the error has been found then?

It should be fixed now but you may have to redo it because it is only going forward from the fix.

I tried redoing the pet order, and gave it plenty of time to update, but the changes are still not being reflected in the pets menu.
Do you know how long the cache is set for? I'm sure this used to update pretty quick before the glitch, but it's been a few hours now and still nothing.

I apologize. I was wrong. Changing order will not clear the cache. Whenever the data is expired, it will grab it again, and then save it, and grab it again when it expires again. So it won't expire until a week after the last time the data was saved which will be different for everyone. Sorry that is my fault. I didn't understand what Grace was saying. But now the cache is set to expire in minutes (5 I think) not a week like before.
