Wasn't fully sure on the designs for the scabbards so used a mixture of screenshots and 3D renders. Hope you like the edits ^^

Would a Suffolk Sheep be fitting? I feel the contrast of white wool with the dark face is nice, plus it fits her description of having black, slightly-curled hair.
