I usually go a bit overboard for this stuff too, I feel like shopping for people is more fun than shopping for myself. n_n Aha, you'd have loved the high school I went to - maroon/burgundy and white were our school colors and in order to fit in there, you had to wear them at least two or three times a week. cx

Oh gosh, I'd have died if we had to wear uniforms, no thank you x3 Navy is a decent color though, at least it's easier to pin down! We had people that thought that maroon = purple or other silly things. All of our pep rallies were "maroon-outs" too, so if you weren't wearing a maroon shirt you weren't allowed to go.

We had people who wore purple too xD And dark blue jeans. tbh the uniform wasn't very strict back then. I wore white t-shirts not shirts for most of my time there. My little sister has to wear specific school trousers and shirts and the whole shebang. Uniforms suck. I chose my college specifically to avoid it!

Oh wow, that'd suck. Overly specific uniforms are so weird to me. My high school and middle school couldn't have cared less about what people wore tbh, as long as it wasn't outrageous. The elementary school I went to was the only one that actually required uniforms, and even that was pretty loose. It's such an odd thing to me, but it definitely makes it less of a challenge to pick out what to wear! cx

Ooh, that's exciting! I think it's pretty neat, it's the first Pokemon game I've gotten right after it was released. Lumi avatars are always really fun! I plan on trying to make some festive ones too, but I'm not sure exactly what. Maybe something with snowflakes? HP names are always cool! And this site does have a bunch of neat names that aren't taken. That's awesome! n_n

This is actually a ping group! We haven't had an actual onsite cult function in a really long time, and it broke a while back. Then forum groups were introduced, and cults just sort of moved to forum groups. Basically, what's going away is something we don't actually use, so nothing will change! That notice is mostly so that the people who were active back when real onsite cults were a thing can clear out any items/etc they may still have stored within that part of the site. Forum groups have basically all the functions that the old cults had, so they're redundant now and staff wants to get rid of them so they don't continue to waste space.

Ah didnt knew you already were aware of it xD Do you know if the cult forums will be closed, too? I just asked because of the offsite forum, as I thought the onsite cult forum may be removed aswell?

I've just been on this site too long, aha. When I was new (aka summer 2011), I wanna say that was just after the cults broke, so I remember a bunch of drama over that and then everyone started using this forum to host their cults' threads. The old cult function had forums built into it too - think of it sorta like Neopets' guilds, if you've ever played on there. The forums we have now are built into forum groups, not cults, so they won't be going anywhere either!
