I was wondering how you felt about doing a dog sweater similar to the below? my dog is not as big she's a cocker spaniel about 35lbs i could get her measurements if needed. Been looking for one for a smaller dog but having a hard time finding ones with directions. >:

That pattern looks fairly straight-forward, and I'd be happy to make it! I found a slightly better version of it from Lionbrand, with sizing information: click

I'm going to need the 3 measurements of your dog, listed on the top of second page; give me the measurements you want the sweater to have, so measure accordingly.

Then of course you get to pick the color(s). I can do a solid color or stripes of multiple colors. The one in the pattern has a color gradient by using color-changing yarn, which is a bit pricier, but also an option.

I'll have a better idea after you give me the details, but I can make this for somewhere around $20, U.S. shipping included. :)

Sorry bout that. Had a hard time finding my measuring tape q.q the measurements are below. Let me know if any are incorrect/sound off!

Neck; 15in / 38cm Rib/around chest; 25in / 64cm Length from neck to bum; 21in / 53cm

Colors; she has a dark purple leash and collar so something dark purple or purple and white to match. I'm happy with either or! I'll post a pic in a few minutes so you can see the color.

Your dog wears around a large size sweater, by the pattern. The neck measurement is on the small side. Can you check that a 15in sweater can slip over her head comfortably? The finished neck will have some stretch, but that part will not have buttons or be adjustable.

As for the color, this purple yarn that looks like a match. I think I'll add a white trimming around the edge? Let me know if you have other suggestions.

Can you also take a full body picture of your dog from the side so I have a general idea of her bodyshape?

I double checked and the lowest part of her neck is 15inch the thicker part close to the front legs. That color suggestion looks great to me :>

The two main pieces are done, as seen modeled by my bag of fiberfill (which happens to be exactly 25in. around), with some measurements to show proportions.

To finish up, I'll be adding two purple belt pieces to attach the bottom piece to the top. My bag doesn't have legs, so I'll have to eyeball the positions of these. But I'll include several holes in the belt for flexibility, and it'll be easy to detach and re-position the buttons yourself.

Hope it all looks good so far? I'm not sure if you were going for this, but this sweater is going to look a lot like a royal purple cloak when I add the white trimmings. :)
