How exactly are people mean to you?

I agree. And if I accidentally post something that doesn't belong on a certain forum, people have ganged up on me. It doesn't feel good to be ganged up on by the users who have been with subeta longer than me. Everyone also seems to think I'm a noob. I've been with subeta almost a year and a half... I guess you just can't be who you are here, it's too bad....

How come people are ganging up on you? I've only been here for a couple of months so I am an ultra true n00b haha but I've found everyone to be pretty nice a welcoming :)

I've spoken to lots of users but haven't exactly made friends as such, but then again I don't exactly have friends in rl, so I guess I don't really need in depth discussion? I just like to be friendly and sociable and am literally willing to chat with anyone about anything.

I completely understand where you are coming from! I was posing on a forum site and the site froze and I thought I had gone to where I was going to post and looked at the date wrong and a Staff member went postal on me!

i think its hard to read tone over the internet, so a lot of times when you interpret something one way it wasnt actually meant like that. i dont think staff actually gets angry or anything when you post on the wrong forum or necro a thread, theyre just stating a fact. im sure no staff member actually holds any ill will toward users who make small mistakes, theyre just doing their jobs :~)
