That's great ~ I was a bit mind-boggled as well. LOL 😸 ❤
Posting this here for people who are having trouble:
Use the arrow keys to move the tiles around. Each arrow will make all of the tiles on the screen move in that direction (if they are not already against a wall).
Basically you are just combining blocks trying to make higher numbers. The lowest number is two, and the highest is 2048. You combine two of the same block and it doubles the number. So two blocks make a block, two blocks make a block, etc. The goal is to keep combining blocks until you create a 2048 block. Although in this case, a 512 block is all that is needed to move on with the plot step.
The Subeta version is a bit more confusing, because they are using symbols instead of written numbers. But the number of objects in the symbol represents the number of the block.
Also yes, a good strategy is to keep higher number blocks close to the bottom and move lower number blocks closer to the top so you can drop them down and combine with the other high blocks on the bottom.
I've played this for years and at least for me it's easier to keep the higher numbers top/left and combine up. To each their own. ;)
So hitting the arrow keys moves everything that's showing?

Yep, it moves everything that's showing and add another 2 block to the screen (which may immediately combine, so you might not notice it)

Thanks, but damn I am very confused about this one.

Never even played this and I usually like stuff like that. But this is new to me. I really hope I'll be better with this tomorrow. It's 1am here. :V
Good luck everyone. <3

It skips the puzzle, but you lose out on plot points and an achievement

Well eff me. Thanks for the explanation - I thought the tiles needed to add up to 512 total value so I checked my score just now at that instead of continuing (so close to the actual solution too /sigh).
Getting to 512 wasn't terrible. Still liked yesterdays puzzle better :3 But at least I was able to move on and grab the silver key ^^ Good luck to those still playing. Ugh, the battling times suck for me :(
I dont get it, I got a 540+ score and it still said "nothing happens, maybe you should try again."
Nooo! And I wants them precious...

How do you know what you are scoring as you go along?

The "score" is not the sum of the tiles, but creating the 512 tile.
you need a tile with the number "512" on it...
Oooooh so I have to get past the 256 tile, thank you :D
I find it helps to keep your highest number in a corner (any corner) and try your best not to move it from there. For those of you who have never played this before, you could try to have a look at the "original" here, which is less confusing because it uses easy-to-read numbers: https://gabrielecirulli.github.io/2048/
